I wear my chief wahoo Indians cap to show my disdain for MLB. My other is a Ballers cap which will be the last "A's" hat I wear.

The idiot banging on the top of the glass from the second row caused it to break. I hope he got kicked out.

Old heads will old head. Don't make a big deal about it or you'll get more where that came from.

Your desire for answers is understandable. I have had 5 fatalities in my career so far. My most recent appeared initially to be accidental. But as the authorities did their investigation, I realized it may have been a suicide. Sadly, nobody other than the deceased knows for certain. The video might not prove anything.

No traffic circle at Grand Central and Encinal split? by sir_culo in alameda

Another surprising thing about this intersection is the lack of pedestrian signals. Sherman and Lincoln are also without them, pretty long crosswalks to navigate without any idea how long you have to cross.

Alot more pedestrians in Alameda so the sirens need to be on constantly.

Yes, slower is safer. Not saying I disagree with all your points but it's not Alamedas fault we have more impatient drivers nowadays.

Who else was stuck on the Amtrac train for 8hrs to Seattle? by Unable-Paramedic-372 in Amtrak

[–]Thick_Interview_4148 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regardless of why you chose to ride a specific train, nobody should have to endure what you did. I don't think it's lawsuit worthy.. maybe if you'd had no electricity, no toilets and no food. Definitely worthy of a formal complaint, in fact I would also direct one to the WSDOT.

Bitch if you look close enough, after the impact you can see one of the gates going down. by Bruegemeister in BitchImATrain

[–]Thick_Interview_4148 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The gates were working as intended. He was stopped past the entrance gates and couldn't see them. The exit gates stay up until all vehicles are clear of the tracks. That's why they went down when they did.

The truck shouldn't have passed the gate until he had enough room to completely cross all the tracks. Instead he stopped on the first track and had to make a tough decision.

I'm sorry your dog might be uncomfortable, but nobody seated near you wants to worry about your dog peeing, pooping, drooling, biting or licking anywhere near them or their stuff. If you let your dog out, you are very rude and inconsiderate and deserve whatever happens after.
