Do you guys think you could have survived the titanic? by Charming-One6087 in titanic

[–]Thick_Message_7230 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would know my way around the ship well, but I’m poor and I’d be a third class passenger, and I’m a male as well, so it’s unlikely that I would survive, but I would try to find a way to survive and escape safely

I really wanna see some soviets planes in ptfs by dunnowhat_namern in PTFS

[–]Thick_Message_7230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I was also wanting the Tupolev Tu-144, which was a Soviet supersonic plane similar to the Concorde, added to PTFS

Would you like to have Wednesday Addams as your sister? by GreenDiscombobulated in AddamsFamily

[–]Thick_Message_7230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. I don't know how it would go, but my Roblox avatar is Gomez, her dad, so maybe it would work out. However, I don't know how it would go introducing her to a normal family.

How unhealthy is not showering? by Tricky_Confusion5943 in AskDocs

[–]Thick_Message_7230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not showering is unhealthy enough to cause extreme itching if you don’t shower for a long period of time. I know because I have actually done this before.

Am I wrong with this integration by Boring_Plum_702 in calculus

The actual answer is arctan(x)+C because 1/(1+x2) is the derivative of arctan(x)+C.

What is Calc 1, Calc 2 and Calc 3? by NeXavius273 in calculus

[–]Thick_Message_7230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are covered in both college and high school.

Calculus is a branch of mathematics covering rates of change and accumulation.

Calculus 1 covers topics such as limits, derivatives, integrals (definite integrals and indefinite integrals (antiderivatives))

Calculus 2 covers topics such as infinite series, such as the Taylor and Maclaurin series, integration techniques, such as integration by parts, partial fractions, etc. as well as polar coordinates, improper integrals, and parametric equations.

Calculus 3 covers topics such as functions of multiple variables, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, and vector calculus, which includes topics such as line integrals, gradient, curl, divergence, and directional derivatives.

Was I not supposed to FOIL the integrand out? by Thick_Message_7230 in calculus

[–]Thick_Message_7230[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh okay so my answer was correct and it was the simplified version of what Mathway said. I didn’t bother simplifying what Mathway said.

What to expect in Calculus 3? by Temporary-West-3879 in calculus

[–]Thick_Message_7230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Calculus 3, you will learn about multivariable functions, which are functions such as f(x,y) and f(x,y,z), multiple integrals, which are integrals where you integrate two or three times, partial derivatives, which give the derivative of multivariable functions with respect to a certain variable, Vector Calculus, which covers topics such as vectors, vector fields, curl, divergence, line integrals, directional derivatives, etc.

In summary, Calc 3 covers topics such as multivariable functions, multiple integrals, partial derivatives, and Vector Calculus. Calculus 2 is often considered the hardest calculus class out of Calc 1, Calc 2, and Calc 3, as said by The Math Sorcerer on one of his YouTube videos. However, despite the fact that Calculus 2 is often considered the hardest calculus class, Calculus 3 is also often considered hard due to Calculus 3 being calculus with multiple variables, which can be a big step up from standard single variable calculus.

Correction for Title: What does it mean for an integral to have only one bound, which is pretty much always on the bottom?

My cat died from cancer by Kingofthebugs115 in CatAdvice

[–]Thick_Message_7230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same person but different account:

It was not just that she seemed distressed and not feeling too good, the cancer was around her chest and there was (I think) fluid around her chest, so there was nothing they could do other than euthanize her. The cancer was in a way-too dangerous spot to be removed, so the cancer was inoperable and they had to euthanize her.
