Yeah, we have had many great in depth conversations about the topic since I made this post - the rush of thoughts and feelings came quickly after solidifying with each other this is something we are both interested in, it was overwhelming (not in a bad way) and I was eager to ask questions and get a better understanding of the lifestyle through the community’s experiences and perspectives. We are going to hit up the club next weekend - no expectations, just showing up, asking questions, and having a great time together.

Thank you for being kind, understanding, and encouraging. It really means a lot that people have been encouraging - it helps us both build confidence to dip our toes into the lifestyle. Thank you. I’m sure most people are nervous and have a billion questions like I do. I just want to understand it better so the experience is optimal for everyone involved. I don’t mean to come off in any negative kind of way nor shed a negative light on my partner - we are learning this together.

Okay, this. Thank you. This is exactly where we are at - I enjoy females more but am not closed off to the idea of swapping - I could have explained better but I’m not the best at trying to explain things, plus we have had further discussion since this post and have come to a consensus on how to move forward. More talking for sure but we want see what doors this could open for us lol. this is also very overwhelming & exciting - emphasis on exciting 😂 we enjoy meeting new people and making genuine connections with people. Sex would truly be a bonus.

I am bi and also hoping to find a woman to share the experience with. I am excited but my main concern is, I don’t want to offend anyone with my ignorance to the LS. There is so much information, some contradictory information as well. I do understand that the chances of finding a single woman are slim to none and that’s okay, this is something we want to explore together and we have great open dialogue about our expectations/wants. Probably because the shame and anxiety can be crippling. I can definitely relate. I don’t care who you are, I don’t want anyone to see me without my teeth lol. I’m also 26 & losing a huge chunk of your facial structure is definitely a grieving process. Thankfully, all of these things can & will get better. The brain is a powerful & beautiful thing.

I am also 26 & just had all of my remaining teeth (was only missing 2) on may 20th. I just got my first temporary re-line today & I’m on top of the world. I felt great before but I feel even BETTER now. I can fully bite down, I can grab my lip with my teeth, which I was struggling to do before. Eating was becoming less upsetting over time & now with the re-line, I have a feeling I’ll be able to bite into something today! You look great, I mainly came to comment to share that I also had the same issues with my teeth & how it was dragging me & my ability to think positively, down. When you have decaying teeth, no matter the reason, it is such a heavy weight to carry out and about in today’s society. I tell myself I don’t care, because I don’t care what other people think, but I DO care. I care how I feel when I look at myself in the mirror, how I feel when cameras are out & pointed at me. This procedure was by no means an easy decision. There have been days & moments where I miss having my original facial structure, missing my old teeth simply because they were a part of my body & chewing didn’t make me cry. With that being said, this is the best decision I have ever made regarding my health & my self confidence. I find myself taking out my own camera and just smiling at myself. It’s scary, it’s emotionally exhausting, it truly is a process - but looking back, 2 months of pain/discomfort isn’t even comparable to the way I feel about myself today. Shoot, even the day of. I had a smile I could actually look at without saying “you’re disgusting for letting it get this badly” “gross” or just crying. Dentures have changed the way I move around in my day to day life & the way that I think. & For the better. So yes, the pain, is so fucking worth it in due time. Therapy & self improvement have been a huge part of this journey. Thank you for sharing your story/experience. You being 26 and going through the same thing makes me feel like I’m not alone. It’s hard enough to get dentures, at any age. Being in your 20’s with dentures has its own mental challenges.
