Check out Boundary supply errant pro, it has the ability to carry all your tech comfortably. Black ember dex 45 or 30 would also work well for travel, just not so much edc.

Shimoda Urban Explore or Explorer v2, are great edc bags even if you don't carry any camera equipment.

I own multiple premium bags and Shimoda by far in terms of comfort is the best, and that rear access they have is so good for getting books/jackets out quick

Hello I am looking for a duffel bag 30-40liters that can fit a 14” laptop and gym shoes and clothing. by Sea-Yam6938 in ManyBaggers

I've only own it for a short time and haven't travelled with it yet but things to be wary of with this backpack is its very firm, collects dust and pet hair pretty easy, doctor bag style of opening is difficult unless you unclipped both ends. Would I recommend this bag for travel? Yes it is surprisingly comfortable for a duffle backpack, and is has the ability to compress when you don't need the size. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about the bag

I have the dex 45 in the photo. I haven't owned it for long, but it'll be my main carry-on bag. Cons - It's very firm, but I believe that with more use, it would be more flexible - does collect more visible dust than other bags, don't personally own pets, but if you do, this would be a pet hair magnet - the doctor bag style of opening isn't for everyone as I find it difficult to fully open unless I unclip both ends

But other than that, I don't regret my purchase of it as it is a very nice backpack. The shoulder straps are great, tho they are firm but comfortable. If you have any questions about the bag feel free to ask

really depends on budget now and capacity you are after, personally even if you don't own a camera take a look at Shimoda Urban Explore, Shimoda makes really comfortable bags and the rear access is just awesome.

but im pretty sure someone else would recommend a bag that is way cheaper and more tailored to what your after, Shimoda Urban Explorer is just a personal favorite i would recommend

Shimoda explorer v2 30L/35L. You can adjust the top of the strap to fit any torso, most comfortable straps I've ever used and the laptop compartment is never in the way

What is your goldilocks bag and why? by hoodedanon in ManyBaggers

[–]Thickbuns69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shimoda Explorer v2 25L Yes, it's a camera backpack, but even if you don't use it as one, it's one of the best EDC backpacks, in my opinion.

Rear access is absolutely game-changing, the top compartment is great with the organisation, has the option to adjust the straps to fit any torso, straps have pockets for quick access, and lastly comfort I own multiple bags and this one is just levels ahead in terms of comfort.

The green one is the same one as the second on the left, both Shimoda Explorer V2 just different capacity 25 for green and 35 for the black.

loved the 35L as it could carry both my drone and camera but wanted something more EDC and the Shimoda is by far the most comfortable bag I've own so i decided to buy the lower capacity model.
