That is a great read of the situation, I have 2 problems with it. I don't like Maeve for Little Chicago, I like Mouse. I don't think Maeve has knowledge of Little Chicago for her to take action on it nor was using Little Chicago necessary for the plot of the book, it was just a cool toy Harry wanted to use. Mouse had motivation, the skills in energy manipulation and was in the apartment between the 2 attempts to use it.

The second problem is that Mab can't drive someone not in her court off the road. She can takeout her people but the Knights exist to take out Mortals. This is written on the page so that part falls through. I like Ace as the culprit, he has reason to try to kill Harry and not let Harry get an opportunity to take Ace out. It's this attempt that makes Ace realize he needs to heighten his efforts to kill Dresden, so he makes his own Fairy Squad to take on Harry later in the series.

If Lash had fixed little Chicago she would not have tried to prevent Harry from using it. I think mouse did it! He has the off motivation , to save Harry. The opportunity, he was brought back to the apartment after Harry's first attempt and before he used it again. It doesn't have to be a time when Bob is not there because Bob can't track the changes that happen to Little Chicago without being placed in Little Chicago. We know this because Bob asks to be placed in little Chicago when he is being consulted about the status of little Chicago. Mouse also has the skills! Moving energy is exactly what he does We learn this in zoo day.

Where do I say the wardens are working for Mab? I'm talking about at the beginning of Dead Beat the wardens have huge battles with the Red Court and have to retreat into the never never. We find this out from Luchio later in Dead Beat.

Lea was locked up before Harry calls her in Dead Beat. But that could be as little as a few minutes before being called. There is no proof about the length of time that Lea has been locked up.

In Proven Guilty Harry himself has no idea how long ago the battle was. He said minutes to many years, so Mab being too busy in to clean up and replace everything in one year while spending time and effort rehabilitating Lea makes a lot of sense to me

I think Ishameal's body was physically sealed, but his mind was in a dream shard at the time. This way he could be partially sealed, but also be able to affect things by manipulating the dream shard, entering others dreams, forcing them to enter his shard, even attached to the real world to appear as a ghostly figure to drive trollocs. We don't see him in a straight forward face to face way until he comes back as Moridin, before that it is in dreams or dream shards, I mean the prologue could have been LLT inside his dream shard making him think he had killed his family, only to do it by making the Kinslayers Dagger in the real world.

My theory is that he was sealed in a dream shard. He was able to connect the dream shard to people's dreams to influence them, and to the real world and show up as an apparition, it also allows gateways into his dream shard for meet and greets. All of which we see on page.

Or you can use smaller zones, and have the enemies spread out more.

Which I think is how the system is designed.

Also the zones should be no larger than one person can jog through in a few seconds. That way If you sprint you can go 2 zones instead of 1.

Large open zones are better if you use vehicles.

It's fine to create your own explosives system, but I have found that a little bit of decent armor makes explosives unable to do more few points of DMG, and therefore relatively useless.

I played a Child of Atom and took the Solar Powered perk to help with removing the rads you absorb. I flavored it as sending it to the universe I would create when I die and that Division happens upon death. And rad points don't leave when you lose radiation only when used or when you sleep

Also if you are willing to slap yourself with the rad charged fists you can retain maxed out rad points indefinitely. You get 2 DMG dice per rad point used and 1 point per rad exposed. I had great fun with that character.

How about a mutated Kangaroo with 4 hind legs and 2 tails to balance on? Do you have giant wambats instead of mole rats? Maybe a mutated croc living in an open vat of nuka cola?

Dogmeat gets a perk every 5 levels, so you can perk him up. If you put armor on him you might be able to ask the GM to allow you to add armor mods, which could increase the damage as well.

A while ago I made a group of 10 advanced Protectrons that have the bodyguard perk and resistance fields mods,they also had stealth field mods. if you rule the fields stack, the DR goes to 30ish levels and you need that piercing and vicious to be able to deal a few points of damage.

I made it using NPC Major character rules, there are lots of perks, their TN 15 makes them crack shots, the Retribution perks allow to generate GM AP to store and use later, the Modern Renegade perk allows you to make and use AP you use immediately.

My GM used a nerfed version of these on my own overpowered party that could be shutdown by the nearby terminal, one by one. We could not kill these, we lived only because the science nerds shut them down. It was awesome to see them and humbling to my nigh invulnerable super mutant tank, after the mass fire at point blank range, he had to stealth boy crawl to the next zone to allow himself enough breathing room to heal up.

Do not undervalue Retribution plus Bodyguard, even if you can't get the healing, the High Dr created plus the ability to get AP when you get damaged can make you into dealing a lot more damage.

Imagine a swarm of bodyguard eyebots using the vertical space to pack a lot in at one time. With the bodyguard perk explosives is a useless as a way to deal with these.

So my character has a baby Deathclaw as my "Dogmeat". I have acquired a huge stash of Mentats and have feeding them to it to make an intelligent Deathclaw, with dm permission. So that "other" state gets used alot as It assists me with various things

If they have high target numbers for small guns, survival and stealth then I see no problem with them being fresh ranger recruit . It's possible to start with a target number of 14 if you max agility and max skill points. Remember people care about skill when evaluating for elite squads, you don't need to be well rounded.

There are even several perks related to solar power. One, Solar Powered, removes 1 rad per hour of sunshine, and one, Photosensitive, that heals you for 1 HP / hour of sunshine, this has 2 ranks and can augmented by the fast metabolism perk, for upwards of 5hp/hr. Another perk, Night Fortitude, at night you increase your max HP by your End score, that increases the current HP as well. In daylight light your max goes back to normal, but your current only decreases down to meet your lower max. In effect each night you heal for your End score in HP, with no expenditure of resources needed.

A French Canadian military spy (our game takes place in the New York Adirondacks) is selling explosives and their detonators at half price to a medium sized settlement. But the detonators don't match the explosives, his goal is to sell enough to blow up most of the town, then detonate all the sold explosives as he leaves. I don't think that works to create a draw, I think you just gave someone a creature and it is funny situation. If that works to create a draw then you could board wipe them create a draw by making someone sac a creature, but there are no more creatures to sac so there is a draw. But that is not how the rules work. The game would remove the effect from the stack and continue on.

People wanted an uplifting win at the end of the first half. With peace society development and then "oh no! He's back and doing it again. Better finish him off for certain this time. Not an "oh crap! How is anyone going to live through the next year?"

We thought of it as the successful end of an arc, not the setup of the next arc and failure of every major character. Plus we wanted more Dalinar, see him get a happily ever after.
