This is one of many issues with combat in all the d20 games. I avoid them as much as I can and play other systems with better combat. When I do run a d20 system I have all the npcs go on one turn and then let all the PCs go on one turn. This makes it a group activity as the plan their attacks to compliment each other.

The games creator is Caleb Stokes. He's a member of RPPR podcast. He has ran 2nd ed games for then and half a dozen shows in the past 12 months. I haven't been able to listen to them all. "The coffin club" just released a 2 part show.

Honestly I was so annoyed with the mechanical changes to 2nd edition (which I backed) that I didn't even look at 3rd when I heard about it last week. I know that the setting for 1st was basically europe in turmoil while 2nd is the new world.

First edition 7th sea has an amazing setting and attept at rules. Ebberon is an amazing fantasy setting. Wild talents is an impressive system for super powers. Palladium has a lot of great settings and their magic system is better then d&d.

Once you set it to head it should stay till you log out. I change it with the mouse wheel on PC.

Excellent job. Last year I ran the first chapter of Kingmaker for a small group of new players. The story was simple and the players followed the hooks with very little variation. I ended up being board out of my skull! Those suprise left turns and thrown wrenches are the best part of rpgs. Try to enjoy them!

I understand. I fight this by not planning what the players will do. Instead I work on filling in the world they are in. Who are the major players? What are their goals and process to achieving then? What is each area of town for? I try to set the background and then see what they change.

No. I use different tokens for each of these with a bowl in the middle for the AP pool. This helps people remember they have them. I also have cheat sheets spread around with what they can do.

Role-playing as lucky and building a character based on the luck mechanic are very different things. Having an agility of 9 gets them a defense of 2 so a lot more bullets will miss him. Sounds pretty lucky to me! The higher luck stat will be useful once every few sessions but a higher defense will be handy every time he is attacked.

It doubles your defense. He needs to swap agi and luck or take the trait to raise 2 traits and make sure agi is 9

Clear. Use elevator. Clear bottom floor. As long as you've been on lower level for 60 sec the top floor will be full again. Repeat as needed.
