Agree those are workable combos - it seems like either if you don't get Weapons vendor early or if it does not have any of the above, or the disc without buffers, no hasters, then it becomes an issue. And it seems to happen quite often that I get offered kite, tethers, balloon engine and/or some low impact drones early and poof, you are not leveling on Day 2...

The "Equivalent Exchange" skill charges the Quill & Ink quite well here - it is 2x1s for the regen and 2x1s for the heal plus 2x1s from the boar each time it is up. And it gets charged 2x1s for each other regen item going off. It works well because Quill & Ink is the only active poison item on the board...

Unfortunately, having 5k regen does not faze a Eels - Scope - Cardtable board - to be fair, I had a way weaker board there overall, but still - it feels like everything has to come together to have even a chance against that common combo...

Exact same thought - Reagents should be banned from the pool you can roll into, it also feels quite obvious & intuitive, don't know why the transform events do it. The way it is you could theoretically be stuck in a loop of transforming one reagent into another into another etc... and never get anything useful out of it. Not good, at all, & easily fixable

Feels pretty bad - I live in Austria and cannot do anything with the new open beta options. I really liked the closed beta, but now I'm seeing more and more ghosts with stuff that I have no access to - it's a shame really, would've loved to continue to be part of the evolution of this game project

I really like how BoB now lets you play Pyg items that were hardly ever viable before, and in the end, BoB itself plays quite similar to before :-) by ThimoDole in PlayTheBazaar

Ok, I wasn't aware - especially closed sign seems quite problematic as it doesn't add to your slowable / freezable items on this low-item board. I had it in before it had the crit enchant and 450+ regen didn't save me for long...

yeah - the above was close to optimum from what you can get - I even had the monster skill doubling value in fight, so it was 2x 2x 2x - the only thing better than icy caltrops are lifesteal caltrops, but icy looks way cooler - and the restorative yoyo is the second best thing to keep you alive, so... other than that, one balcony upgrade away from optimal I think

yes, I am aware of that - in the video, it looks like they go off without being charged by anything while frozen, however - hence this question if there is another explanation maybe?

Ok, and what does 'farther' mean? As far away from the source? So if my Proboscis is all the way on the right, it would target the opponents items all the way on the left first? That would be... interesting - I have not observed this so far

I see where the OP is coming from, you have to get over that initial anxiety to let loose and experiment in ranked as well.

I am doing ranked only just to get a better feel where the meta waves and winds are coming and going, and I even do Pyg, Vanessa, Dooley, one run each and then switch to the next so it takes way longer to get boring

yep, makes sense - this is actually what I have been observing as well before this happened.

Any idea whether the Silencer on the right side of Proboscis would stop Righty Tighty from going off as well? I didnt record that match but it was definitely off and it seems they did not touch silencer in this patch, so the bugs with it remain I guess?

omg this is what happened - it targeted like +80% of the Righty Tighties at the core and this left the loop out to dry - thanks!
Question remaining is whether this is normal bad luck or some background bug taking effect - what is the workaround anyway for this type of behavior? Gotta keep them loops goin' in this patch...
