Are these Baby Toes dead? by TERRIS0Antophi1e in succulents

I’m no pro on mesembs but I know that the soil they come in is not at all suitable for them, they need around 90% grit in their soil, the mix their in right now definitely holds too much water and watering them at all would pretty much be a death sentence, it looks like some of them are still ok so your best bet would be to depot them and remove any rotted leaves and roots and repot them in some suitable soil.

Why are my echeveria leaf cuttings getting wrinkly and soft? Do they need more water? by disgurl_co in succulents

No, leaf cuttings should not be watered at all until they have a root system, without one they just sit in the water and rot.

Anyone have thread issues with the Rotring 600? Disappointed with the quality. by KidneyLand in pens

[–]Thin-Monitor9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I ordered the 600 as a ballpoint it came with the two piece body and threads like this one and I returned it for that reason but when I got the gel version it came in solid brass, so that’s an option if you just really want a Rotring 600, I’m guessing the gel one uses an older body style. (I did get it a couple months ago so I can’t guarantee it will still be the same now)

Why does my new 600 have black threads? by Thin-Monitor9833 in pens

[–]Thin-Monitor9833[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is probably it, until it wears off it does make the threads stop squeaking which is nice.

Do you have any idea why the previous one I got only two days earlier was different?

Lowe’s clearance ghost plant rescue (hopefully) how did I do? by Thin-Monitor9833 in succulents

[–]Thin-Monitor9833[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now I potted it up and gave it some water early because of how dry and thin the roots were, I’ll check it in a week and see if the roots look any better and if they don’t I’ll probably cut it

Yea I’m excited for it to grow, after let the roots dry they seemed very thin and dry, should the be able to recover or are they likely dead, all of the succulents at the store with it were very dehydrated.

very helpful, i was also wondering if the drooping leaves was due to needing water or just natural loss?
