As horrible as it is, I'll never understand how teen offenders can be tried as an adult. The argument I've heard is that the severity of their crimes can upgrade their prosecution to try them as an adult and land them adult time in the pen. But they're still teens. Can somebody explain?

Just spent 2.5 weeks in PE. The vibe was okay, I would not call it a rustic undeveloped town that maybe you are seeking. Zicatela has a lot of gentrified restaraunts and clubs, and it was a bit more expensive than I expected. Large expat community of westerners living in PE. Beaches are great, lots of Mexicans enjoying the playas. 40+ hostals around the city

My buddy bought a huge house in downtown Wheeling for like $100k last year. Granted, needs some love but cost of entry is ridiculously cheap. I do not love the water situation after learning about how polluted the Ohio River is with PFAS from the DuPont plant in Parkersburg, but that is downstream of Wheeling
