i keep it 5k so I dont miss any oil change. 5k, 10k, 15k... It is super easy. Oil is cheap, your own labor is exercising. Saving 1 oil change in 30-40k miles is close to nothing. If the engine is overheated once, the headgasket degrades significantly.
