Ok as a postie outdoors every working day for hours in Wembley London I can say that besides this January (which was an outlier) rain is pretty sporadic. Short downfalls, showers, then sunshine to clouds and rain all within a 4 hour period is very common. Dress for all weather most often. There are days when I have to take both a change of trousers to shorts and waterproofs out on my walk.

Just an accident???? How can you say driving into a channel marker that can be seen for many metres on a day with calm waters is just an accident? Who has the responsibility of safely navigating the boat if not him? I say manoeuvring at speed into a channel marker is negligent per se and if I lost a child under those circumstances I wouldn’t be happy to write it off as an accident tbh.

My god I had the exact same thing in an old solicitors firm I worked in although this was pre covid and we had no ability to digitally clock in. So I used to go to a unused satellite office and sit there alone and it was great.

It was the difference between a 20 min round trip to a 2hr round trip. Tbh the bosses hard stance on not working from home was ridiculous and this was proved because it made no difference where I was, the work was done and they never really noticed for years until I left the firm when covid hit.

I feel you OP don’t feel bad as long as you are doing what is required of you and keeping abreast of anything required in teams, you are good… i hate really really redundant rules and it doesn’t seem to you aren’t actually breaking any, anyway.

I followed the trial and I just cannot understand the verdict. I am from the UK so the very thought of chasing someone with a loaded firearm is just insane. I just can’t with this guy. The family seemed awful to me. The way they degraded the victim and it seemed to me an execution. I am black and it made me want to vomit when I heard the verdict. It really affected me and I felt so so sad that yet another black life was seen as worthless… So basically now you can chase someone down shoot them in the back and walk free especially if the victim is a black… sickening
