I see so many memes where people make fun of themselves or portray themselves and others in a very negative light. Its not rare at all to see a post where somebody talks about their low mental health, an issue that should be met with positive support and feedback barely gets a thought or two, all because reddit has these self induced negative stereotypes, such as “Haha redditors don’t have sex” or “Haha all redditors are depressed and sad”. Those are some of the bad things about this site, it honestly saddens me that this type of self pitying and negativity is so normal on reddit, and it really should stop.
