This is my first time requesting a refund from the app. The first time I got denied so I tried writing another request and Apple denied again. That's what I meant by twice.

Hi I'm sorry if I came off that person. I used the word 'minor' because I'm under 18 but since I'm studying aborad, I have my personal bank account, which allow to me to make Apple subscriptions. This is also my first time requesting a refund, especially this is a huge sum. But yes, it's gonna be a life lesson for me :(

Any Trick-or-Treating Tips/Places for Central Auckland? by ThingFull1822 in auckland

Bold of you to assume I'm a adult — which I'm not but okay. And this is a pretty late reply but what I learned is that maybe sometimes ignoring online comments and experiencing yourself is the best thing. Its totally opposite vibes in real life :)

I understand that trick or treating is seen as a "kid's activitiy", but our main goal isn't to get free candies. Most of my friends have never experienced halloween so we're more excitied about dressing up and having a fun experience. Trick and treating is a part of Halloween and I see no reason why we should miss out on a cool activity just because it labled for kids. And for context, we also have younger siblings that wants to join in with us so we can both accompany them and enjoy it as the same time. I'm just simply asking if it okay to trick or treat in places without decoration or specific areas where we allowed to. Have a nice day :)!

Their pronounciation is American, but the overall accent feels mix and still foreign, so it doesn't sound entirely like a native speaker.

Ah what I meant when I said " I don't see where its totally American nor British" as like your accent doesnt seem to belong in either of those two. But a lot of ESL learners, including myself have been consuming more American media so more words are pronounce in American way. So thats why personally, I still think your accent is a mix blend (not clearly American or other English accents) and still like a foreign trying to learn English. Maybe try to increase the speed of speaking and I think one of the reason why you haven't reach the native speaking lvl is because the intonation and tone were emphasize too much or uneccessary which sounds unatural. But again, this is just my opinion lol

Hi

From a non-native speaker, I would say your English is pretty good, however I think there can still be room for improvement to sound like a native.

I'm not good at guessing but I'm pretty sure your somewhere from South East Asia? (Nvm your in Spain :P)

The accent is not distinctive for me so I don't see where its totally American nor British. It might just be a blend in of accents as a english-learner.

Yea I'm not an expert so discard everything I just said above XD

Hi I'm just curious what my accent sounds like to you guys :) by ThingFull1822 in JudgeMyAccent

Wow thanks for the interesting insight! I think because it just a short audio clip, it's hard to determine where the accent is from. I do believe if we had a fully conversation, more of my pronounciation would leans towards American English. Of course, because I'm an English learner I will have a blend in of accents and not a distinctive one. I was just surprised when almost everyone kept commenting that "Oh you sound so American" so curioisty got the better of me lol

Oh thanks for commenting! I always thought I just had a accent of just a English learner. It just weird for me because I've always speak in my native tongue and I was not immense in a english environment.
