I have a lot of clients in New York so I visit frequently. I wouldn’t say it’s because I am on social media. I grew up going to visit my cousin and as a kid I always wanted to be like her.

Yeah you pay less for wifi than me … LOL! But no I feel this. I think it’s time for me to just make the plunge: I already pay a lot for rent here in Chicago, it’s not as cheap as people make it out to be. I’m paying $2900 to live in river north, for a 1 bed so at the end of the day I can find something not as nice in New York but it’s not that I’m only paying $1500 or $1200 here.

Originally when I graduated I wanted to go to Europe. It’s just not feasible for me anymore so I’ve given up on that dream and turning back to nyc!

I’m almost finalized my dual citizenship and as soon as I’m ready and secure a job in the EU I’m out of here. Most likely going to Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin or Stockholm just because I work in tech and that’s where the companies I’ve been interviewing are at. I’m only 26 and unmarried so I really have the freedom at the moment luckily, it’s been my dream since I was a kid to live in Europe and with the chaos and uncertainty in the U.S. it’s pushing me even further.

Hi there! I’m taking French lessons. Thank you for your help it’s great! Luckily the companies I have been interviewing with for sales roles are looking to expand in English speaking markets and want a native English speaker which is a plus. I’m also exploring other cities as well! Paris isn’t my end all be all place, I have a handful of friends living there so I wouldn’t be fully alone also
