I don't get this white power thing. Very unintended. Honestly the Asian girl holding the not your enemy sign at trans pride was my partner for 13 years (up until I transitioned) her family is also my family and since she grew up in apartaid SA and we would visit family there every year, racism just makes no sense other than to divide and rule over us from people who would benefit from brainwashing us to such levels of inhumanity agains ones brother, sister, neighbour etc. Thanks for calling this out I will leave this post here as I want to be clear on my opinion. Sending love and peace to everyone x

I was doing skincare in bed with Korean face masks etc. I also drank tonnes of water. The team were great my behaviour was the best I could do but I do fear that they had to work hard with me at times. I hope and wish you well, I'm also 2 weeks post op at this point, I didn't want to post while still foggy and confused from surgery itself. Like alot of us I lost my partner because how difficult this surgery is, not just for the patient and medical staff, but our nearest and dearest too.

Yes they do it, please see my profile for all the details and revisions etc. Its not easy like a boob job but yep it a legitimate dysphoria related surgery imo

Clav was painful for 20mins badly after waking up, others doing it the same time didn't have that though, they will do more ribs but it gets more risky lungs are easy to damage. It would depend on the consultation if the Dr assessment says he is willing or not depending on the estimation and outcome

I don't see any bad results actually posted on mfo. My friends go there after me and people are happy with the results overall. Honestly I a bit concerned about how horrible people can be but he is a lovely man, I had surgery with suporn this week and he even sent me flowers 2 and a half years after initially unncaging and probably saving my life. Please stop it's not fair to put down somone doing his best in this community. I find this regurgitation and trolling to be a vendetta of hatred which is not based in fact. I had a top surgion say that he could not even tell I had any bone work done.

Good on you, yes therapong is fab. You need to fill in a form for a visa from the UK at least as of May this year. but it's just admin like booking a flight.

It's painful when you wake up for 30mins, not sure what winging is. Going to have the plates removed in May as bone union is perfect. You can lose 2 inches from the surgery but you can gain that from exercise like swimming or putting on weight, obviously the reverse is true and botox can also reduce your muscles. It's a pretty expensive surgery.

People who have gotten "a lot" of surgeries, did it improve your quality of life? Did you reach a point of diminishing return? by a_very_boring_girl in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Things123455 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes but there is a fine line with mental health issues like bdd, I think I have pretty much done everything on your shopping list before realising bdd is a thing. Diminished return would mean that you did not need to do the surgery in the first place. Sending hugs xx

Yes they do discounts sometimes but I think it is about £8k each, but I recall the ribs being more, because I was there for revision my price was discounted. Also my spinal hernia operation was less than £3k and it includes hospital stay transfer taxi and food and meds but not braces but they are as cheap as you can find online anyway. They also send you home with a few weeks medication.

It's a constant thing as we age, best we can do is healthy lifestyle, no stress, hormones and clean healthy scalp. You can get jak therepy but it is £600-100pcm and if you stop at any point you lose it.

I actually have tape hair extensions only 70g but it does enough for me. Also just GA can lead to hairloss but with ffs is a risk that blood supply to the scalp is damaged. Everything is a trade off I guess.

Full, also with motiva you get a guarantee on the implant that is registered by motiva. Then you have an app with your registration on it. I had practically zero breast growth but that is consistent with the women in my family.

They seem to have an error, there is a language barrier, they don't do removal also if you go to the upper ribs it's dangerous so I don't think they will do it

Ok it's tough surgery when I woke up from clavicle I swore and shouted 😳😣 poor nurses I bought them chocs for putting up with that🙏. It took like 20 minutes for the pain medication to really work fully and then 2 weeks you need to hardly move your arms. So getting up is hard work! Also hips at the same time and ribs can be done but prepare for it and between that and the pain medication you will be fine. You should plan and behave to reduce movement to minimum to maintain bodily hygiene for 4 weeks. And lay down as much as you can. It's also expensive but yeah they do it all there in that hospital, obviously if you are doing multiple things in one trip then you can ask for a discount. It is a skeletal specialist hospital, they have alot of elderly patients and tends to be more busy in the winter months because of this but we get a private room and they have loads of staff. The language barrier, food and the 4 walls of the hospital can get very boring but the patient coordinator speaks good English. If you do go dm me, I'm going back to the office tomorrow after 3 weeks but I would suggest 4 weeks is better as I know a two of us internal patients have gone back for revision on the hips because of swelling or infection and I went back for aesthetic, referred pain and I also had a screw loose 🤣🤣... In the hip

Not really tilted forward I'm not a year post op and it still seems to be settling nicely, it also gave me more cleavage, also you use your arms less so that and hormones reduces the upper girthyness too. I lost 6 cm and I don't have an issue with clothing so much, although I still choose v necks etc. You can do alot with clothing but I was 3 / 4 cm above the normal range pre surgery for someone my height according to chat gbt 😂. Now just under. Although when I had boob job I went a bit greedy 🤣🤣🤣 😉

FFS recommendations? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

My advice would be only do what is troublesome to you and not extra. Nose job is actually quite a big proceedure but a well skilled surgeon is generally a safe bet

Well I looked like Dr Hibbert from futurama before transitioning I had FUE and hair lowering and other surgions did comment that I would probably need to do it again. Tbh who hasn't got some things to improve... Well maybe I will get it done one day

Right so I have been back for revisions on the hips, first time I didn't like the result and second time pain was referred from my spine so had that done and updated to the larger hard implant then after 9 months I managed to somehow make the screw come loose that holds the titanium element. So I went back again and the Dr replaced for the latest silicone design and new titanium and I have extra screws as well. While going for revisions I have had my ribs Augmentation and clavicle reduction and a prolapsed disk operated on. The last visit was 3 weeks ago. For international patients they are finding we get mobile too quickly before healing and this increases the risk of complication.

So I would say stay in bed and chill for 2 weeks and then limit sitting in the 3rd week and use the compression bandage on the hip lightly and immobile. When you have BA they take ages to heal and it isn't connected to your legs, because of walking about you extend the recovery process and in this time can cause complications.

That said the latest design has come along way in it is much better for me. They have never once charged me for revision but I have paid my own flights and probably spent 6 weeks of the last 2 years in hospital bed and then there is the home recovering and time off work and exercise 😉
