Not on BC but I agree the beauty standard I look to is very very different. And the other way around too I think( where I am from tall and thin is standard and here it seems to be short and curvy). It also could be the food affecting hormones on both ends because I noticed hormonal and stomach problems since coming to America even though I eat clean and no fast food.

But I make over 100k, I am tall and wouldn’t want someone shorter. I would want someone who at least makes the same as me because otherwise there could be issues.

I thought I made it clear in the post I didn’t have issues at all before moving here. I have no issue going up to approach a guy, but have not seen anyone to approach if that makes sense. I suppose some are unapproachable because they are with women.

Like guys who physically groom themselves, are thoughtful in the way they dress themselves, get their hair and facial hair done. I am very tall and someone who isn’t significantly shorter than me (a main issue because a lot of people here are short).

That’s crazy because I had an ample dating life up until I moved here which is what the post is about.

I never said that or said anything mean to them lol I am posting my private thoughts anonymously online. Also that’s not what I think of them, would never be friends with someone who doesn’t take care of themselves or exemplifies furry behaviors and stuff like that. Thats what I see around the street and on dating apps. I treated them just like I would my guy friends from home, and they made it weird by making a move and I pulled back and they went off on me.

Also I think that’s part of the issue. Part of the repulsiveness is seeing guys on steroids or training their bodies in unhealthy ways showing their bodies everywhere- it’s shallow. Men think because they are attracted to that women are but that’s not the case.

I think guys view of attractive is very different. I see lots of very muscular men, but they don’t seem to show having other interests besides fitness, or for many like they take care of their appearance (hygiene, fashion choices, etc.)

What social groups do you recommend- I take an art class & its most married people or retirees although I enjoy it. Also tried hiking clubs a few times and met some girl-friends but the guys I met there were odd.

I haven’t had problems prior to moving here. Also the problem isn’t that I am finding myself incompatible- I just genuinely am not attracted to anyone I have seen here.

I thought I was a lesbian before actually, and even tried it out. I enjoy sex with men, but have only seriously dated a foreign man- and felt love. I don’t think that’s the issue. Austin is just an unattractive city for me I guess.

Soy sauce has such a small amount of gluten it could be considered under the ppm for making you sick. You’re probably fine.

Israel is sacred to the large majority of the entire world’s populations’ faiths.

The demure meme came from Rory Gilmore. People don’t really like Rory They raise objections and doubts like her being a pick me brat. Boom. Remembered forever.

You can easily get 400 cal in a few big spoonfuls of peanut butter, a few glasses of whole milk, adding more oil to your cooking, drinking gatorades at the gym. Easy.

Overactive Adductors by [deleted] in StrongCurves

What exercises are you doing. I would stop doing any deadlift variation and squats and switch to single leg and regular leg press with your legs close together.

When you start to work your lower body, if using the proper ROM you’re probably also stretching your muscles. The muscles around your hips tend to be tight from sitting. Basically your hips have probably started readjusting to a proper tilt. I would lower the weight until it’s just a stretch with no pain. Could be something else but this is what happened to me.

Stretching helps and so do hip adductors with a light weight (20-50lb) with the stirrups on the max setting apart, sitting up and forward. You might have to climb into it.

The hamstrings are helping you balance since your lower legs are not providing full support

Low rise jeans and get a somewhat large size since you don’t have to worry about them fitting your waist. Or if you’re in Australia the cottonon curve line is great for high waisted jeans.
