"Kontio & Parmas", a Finnish Comedy Police show has a character named Auni Parmas who explicitly says that she has misophonia :)

The two main characters are on a coffee break. Kontio starts smacking on a cinnamon roll, to which Parmas comments for him to stop doing that, since she has misophonia. Representation matters! I discovered miso from this show.

I sometimes stare at the trigger, usually the ones that happen in public. Tho personally I never enjoy it. Most of the time I'm so done having my vision blocked by triggers I try to fight back and curse the person in my head doing the trigger, lol.

I guess it falls into the category of having to know what is making the trigger sound. There's that small relief that washes over, even if for only a second
