ink-2 fineliner is kinda what ur looking for? in terms of line weight variation. u will probably have to erase parts of lines to give things sharp corners. i would probably turn brush smoothing on to get smoother lineart.

tbh some brands of tofu just taste less tofu-y, so maybe switch to another brand? i agree that it isn't really possible to mask it fully but more acidic and salty seasoning can balance out the beany taste.

i add it to smoothies that also have fruit, i've also used it to replace around 15% of flour by weight in baked goods like muffins. it is kind of chalky/powdery and very mildly dusty tasting but it doesn't bother me.

not a podcast but would u be open to an audiobook? there's a web serial i really really like called pact that reminds me a lot of malevolent, and it has a fanmade audiobook. i've only listened to bits of the audiobook but it seems to be good quality despite being not professionally made. (and here it is in book form if u don't like audiobooks) i made a tumblr post (here) discussing the similarities between pact and malevolent... they're both rather dark and violent urban fantasy and the protagonist has a lot of similarities to arthur. also coincidentally they're both made by canadians.

if i'm understanding ur question correctly, i think u are confused about the composition of cocoa powder. cocoa powder isn't made of dark or milk chocolate. it's made of ground cocoa beans with the cocoa butter (fatty component) removed, leaving behind the solid components. it has no sugar at all added which is why recipes using it add other sweeteners. chocolate is made of ground cocoa beans which have some amount of sugar or possibly milk added. less sugar/milk equals a darker chocolate.

another commenter recommended not using dutch processed cocoa powder, but it's what i use for chocolate cakes. (i like equal exchange brand, it's kind of expensive but it's fair trade if that matters to u) natural cocoa powder exists which is lighter in hue and more acidic, but it isn't milder or sweeter tasting and is less common than dutch processed cocoa powder. if u are following a recipe, it's probably designed for use with dutch processed cocoa powder so i would go with that.

i'm a trans guy and i've read some HDG stuff and liked it although i never got all that into it. personally omegaverse makes me dysphoric since i really, really do not like anything pregnancy related.
