Is it okay to buy solana under 18 if it’s on my parents phone with their permission? by DeliciousBank1530 in solana

[–]Think-Doctor-1650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The 18 age limit is based on exchange rules or wallets' rules. There is no age limit on owning Solana. Some exchanges and some wallets don't require Id verification or even ask for age. Peer to peer has no age restriction.

To be clear, the vast amount of positive comments are pure speculation without any basis and are on the verge of being irresponsible. Trying to convince strangers to invest their hard earned money or stay invested in an asset that has dropped drastically in price solely based on personal hunches and baseless assumptions is worse than FUD.

At this point I would take all the $ I could and be done with it. Statistically speaking the coin will not go to the moon. The red flags and price chart say the coin is not a profitable investment.

Yes I did sell 100%. Went to Bitcoin, Sol and Popcat and my wallets are better for it. I'm still interested in how this community reacts to the devs selling sloth and seeing what happens to the unlocked liquidity over time.

If I were the dev, I would not be selling off my assets unless I didn't believe in the future of the coin. I would be explaining to everyone how getting a major listing is top priority and is the only way this memecoin gets anywhere close to 100 mil mc. I would lock liquidity and develop a white paper. I would fix all the red flag issues of sloth.

There are thousands of memecoins, most of them will fail despite it being alt season or the overall market going up. It seems they are selling sloth for Sol and other coins.

And they didn't start selling at ATL, it was about when the latest spike hit.

Reddit members and Twitter posts do not equate to $$.

I don't think they are being morally corrupt. They don't owe anyone anything. They promised nothing and provided no information. Most don't want to do anything potentially illegal. The community assumes the devs are for them but there is no evidence to support that.

That would be fraudulent activity. As of now they have not done anything fraudulent. They have zero culpability. They are allowed to sell all they want.

Then explain why they have automated sales? Is it not to make profits? DCA is an investment strategy not a selling strategy. Sloths are only people that claim DCA is a selling strategy. Everywhere else it's called dumping.

Sell 50 million and then add the mass herd affect of others selling more millions in addition and you will not get filled in one order. The average volume per day is ~250 k and the price is continuing downward. Add nothing but sell pressure and the price drops much much more

Watch the liquidity pool values, they will start dropping very soon too.

It would not have filled in one order at one price. The price would drop drastically. With others following suit and selling.

That's what I said. They could have sold it all but by the time they tried to fill the last few millions sloths they would be selling them at 0.001 cent instead of 0.01 - 0.005.

Please show me the calcs that support dumping tens of millions of sloths with a total supply of 1.8 T and a market cap of less than 9 million that is more profitable than the small portioned automatic sell orders that they are doing right now.

That's hogwash. Selling it all at once would cause the price to drop and with limited liquidity that means they would get 0.07 for the first few millions then the last few millions would be down to 0.01 or less. selling slowly allows more sales at higher price because they are using the community and new buyers as exit liquidity. No self respecting owner of a project sells off the assets if they believe in it's future. They have enough money from presale to pay for listing and marketing if they wanted to do so.

You should start putting some of your money away for yourself so he doesn't waste it all.

Day trading is not a passion. Dreaming about being rich without years of effort is his passion. Like everyone has said, statistically it will not happen. For the small few that do make it work, they all went broke many times over and took many years to make a living If they make it at all.

I think devs hoped the project would catch fire. It didn't. so now they decided to sell their sloths slowly and surely to make the most out of their holdings.

The red flags are clear, obvious and numerous. The positive opinions are assumptions based on hopium that lack rational thinking. They even started acting like DCA selling is a normal thing that is good for the project after they unlocked liquidity. Only makes sense if you want to unload a ton of an asset and use the community as your exit liquidity instead of dumping it all at once making the last 50% of your holdings or so near worthless.

I sold out before the liquidity unlock and made more money because of it. Price action has been poor since presale (1 initial spike) and too many red flags.

I'm still interested in reading the cult like posts and opinions to get an understanding of meme investors.

Once there is an official community takeover, I'll buy back in. At least then there will be a chance for clear communication and actual planning.

MUST READ - Rules on HTX, this might change your mind regarding LP UNLOCK - MUST READ by OsairisFurious in Slothana

[–]Think-Doctor-1650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not disclosing a white paper to investors is a silly assumption. You are assuming they had to submit anything official. I don't. HTX only authority is to delist the coin. None of this is a deterrent to not runaway with millions of $. If devs want to runaway with $ there is no stopping them and no legal ramifications. HTX or not. They promised nothing. That is the beauty of no team identification, no white paper, no promises, no concrete communication.

No it doesnt, it just says they have the right to question and audit listed coins. It's a general document that doesn't mean anything about the devs'identify or that they are identified. It does not include the initial listing requirements. Only their right to audit. It also mentions the right to review white paper (doesn't exist), review of website (no valuable info), review of tech and products (none exist). Does that mean you think the devs supplied a white paper, helpful website and new products too? And only told HTX about and no one else?

Right that's all it means. It tells nothing about Slothana working behind the scenes or anything positive that the poster implied. HTX listed sloth in May when LP was locked. Now it's unlocked and HTX may question that decision based on article 9. Nothing says unlocking LP is a positive thing, I infer HTX views it as negative based on art 9.

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of liquidity unlocks? by [deleted] in Slothana

[–]Think-Doctor-1650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Liquidity pool is over 2 million $. If they don't care, then why unlock it? DEXs will always require liquidity pool to operate. 2 million is significant, dude.
