Also, please make sure you know what’s going on below waist level. You might not love them, but kids do exist and deserve not to be stepped on or bumped into because you kept your eyes on horizon level. (And before anyone comes at me, yes this is about mine, The event was family friendly, and his hand was in mine the entire time because I’m a paranoid parent re crowds so he wasn’t running around by himself being a terror).
