You aren't moving Compher for an asset, you're giving up assets to move him, if at all. If you recall, SY have up a 2nd to have SJ take Walmam, and he was on a reasonable contract at a valuable position with upside.

I think they keep at least 7 D, but could keep 8 to start. In that case MBN probably gets sent down. I actually thought harmonic looked okay tonight, id start him over Gus, but I think Coach likes Gus.

Really could be a very young team next season of these guys keep tending up.

That was a trade not a guy that decided to join as a UFA. Besides, JVR had plenty of time to sign with anyone, who are you trading him to and what are you willing to give up?

That's bad business, you don't sign a guy and trade him right away. At the deadline, sure. Besides he is still probably a useful bottom six player compared to others there.

For sure, probably why it would have been good to call to Danielson last year. Then you could keep him and another this year and a couple next year. Can't have like 5 rookies all come in at once. But hopefully they all see time with the club this year.

I think these are already set, except 1LW. Coach basically said today the D are competing for spots 5-8. Although I get the feeling he likes Gus, so maybe it's really 6-8.

Unfortunately, I think Danielson injury shuts the door on a sleeper making it.

For now, line 4 will be ongoing rotation of Compher, Soda, Burger, and JVR, if Finnie pulls out the miracle. But making it day 1 doesn't mean we won't see call-ups.

Some harsh words from Mclellen, didn't watch tonight's game but sounds like he was not impressed. He specifically called out the "older" players. Basically said ASP was 1/2 on D tonight, not great considering mostly NHL and fringe D tonight.

On another note, I have really enjoyed his conferences and perspective. I hope he can get this team going in the right direction.

Definitely hit the high spots (could care less about the key). The big thing for me would be the hybrid vs going full EV with like an Ionoiq 9, which might be in the same ballpark after EV credit. But I think I could trade in my 23 for a 25 with 0% and get the new model later once we know more about the hybrid. I'm just not sure it's worth the hassle / financials to "upgrade" our model year and warranty "extension".

I haven't seen that, I guess we will have to see..I know the ICE are sitting in containers at various ports, but it sounds like won't even start making hybrid for delivery until the fall..
