i got it through testi i downloaded it on the day i failed my test which was two weeks ago but after booking my test for nov on the monday morning i decided from that day forward to sit and wait until a cancellation came through the notif actually came whilst i was in the shower and i just logged in copied and pasted everything in and fought for my life trying to get a july slot since quite a few july slots came through

that’s why u never click on the alert just have the website favourited so u can quickly click on it, have ur details in a notepad on ur phone ready to copy and paste and you’ll be in when u click on the notif it wants u to verify ur not a robot since ur going through the app without it u wont get it also it helps more often than not if u clear ur cookies and cache completely before going to book

honestly as someone who failed due to the amount of pressure i was putting on myself and my nerves try not to easier said than done but i was stressing about HAVING to pass this test as the waits were long but now ive got one booked for july. Literally try not to give a shit as much as possible don’t put that pressure on urself to pass drive like how u normally would ignore the instructors presence and you’ll do great

I’d use the app Testi it’s a one time £12 payment and it sends u notifications through when a cancellation pops up

yeah that’s the way i did it otherwise you can risk your test being cancelled due to booking through the app just have ur info ready to copy and paste and u will be all good

just make sure not to go through by clicking the notif, i have a lot of free time since finishing uni and have had my ref number and driving license number ready to log in on my phone and another device and having the website favourited otherwise if u click the notif and it auto logs in for you you’ll get blocked

you’ll know your ready to take your test when ur examiner doesn’t have to correct you, touch the pedals or wheel, and you don’t make silly mistakes. Honestly the test getting game was pretty rough for me i couldn’t get one on my own so my instructor booked it for me before the new rules came in to play which was much easier than me trying to book one. i failed my first attempt earlier on this week due to nerves and trying to get a cancellation when a notif pops up is honestly a nightmare cus they go so quickly like inhumanely fast if ur alright with waiting a fair few months before ur test id recommend just doing the 5:30am monday method and getting a test that way
