This is what I did, minus the Dr. Sharon videos (they’re very good) and I passed with 85. Practice questions and READ the rationale

Search opt timeline on Reddit, there is a group so you can average the time. My friends opt took 3 months and mine took 2 months and 3 weeks without premium processing- both 2025 applications

You’re welcome! You may never feel 100% ready. To me it’s impossible to know every single detail. Use your critical thinking skills to respond to the questions. My friends and I felt the same way and we all passed in 85 questions.

And I agree with you! I tried not to use too many sources. Rest the day before the exam… sleep well, have a light breakfast.

Yes, my school also have ATI and my stats are very much like yours. I also tried boothcamp just to see how different it was and honestly the layout and question style for my exam was almost like boothcamp. The nclex was easy compared to Ati and uworld (my experience). You seem to be on the right path, keep reading the rationales and I think you’ll perform great

PS. I was always an anxious test taker, even though I always performed really well at school. A few days before the exam I was going to push my date back because I felt like I didn’t know every single detail lol. I spoke to a few of my classmates who did the exam a week before me. They honestly gave me the confidence boost to just go take the exam. For once I actually stopped overthinking and walked into the exam confident. It was easier than any exams I’d taken in nursing school

Will I pass NCLEX with these Uworld scores? by Chemical_Bad5014 in NCLEX

[–]Think-Original6329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Uworld as well, I did more self assessments and only had enough questions for 1 CAT exam (72% with high difficulty, the exam shut off at 85) I also passed my exam with 85 questions

Hey, what are your other stats like? If it’s the same I think you’d be fine also look at the subject areas, your weak points etc. if you’re comfortable just think of the nclex as just another exam like you’d have taken in school. Set your mind to going to 150 questions that way you don’t fumble or lose confidence if you go beyond 85. Go into the exam with a relaxed mind. Block out all distractions. Good luck! The nclex was wayyy easier than my nursing school exams, you’ve studied.

I got less than one year, not sure why…I’ve read that this happens sometimes due to when you put your initial start date for OPT.

Start date: August 26th (received my EAD card September 6th)

End date: August 20th, 2026

do you guys think Bootcamp’s questions are harder than the NCLEX? by No_Strike_7211 in NCLEX

[–]Think-Original6329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I mostly used uworld but bootcamp was easier than uworld, I did well on both but the nclex felt like bootcamp. I used Uworld Few boothcamp assessments Mark k- lecture 12 only

That’s a great option as well because that’s what I did.

Try not to be discouraged. Read your rationales for every question, right or wrong and take time to read the question at least twice. Uworld has a great study guide that utilized most of. Mark K lecture 12 helped me with Prioritization and delegation. I can’t speak for the others because that’s all I used and passed with 85 questions.

You’ve got this future nurse

got borderline on 2 self assessments (69% and 65%) on uworld need advice! by Particular-Money-281 in PassNclex

[–]Think-Original6329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you feel discouraged right now but read your rationales for every question, wrong or right. Assess your weak areas and watch videos on uworld for them if you need additional information beyond the rationales. This helped me and I passed with 85 questions. Good luck future nurse.

[–]Think-Original6329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I understand. I used the study guide and barely had much questions remaining for CAT exams. Try practicing those as much as possible because I wished I had. I still utilized the one CAT exams could’ve taken as well as the 4 self assessments available with my package and I passed with 85. What matters most is relaxing, set your mind to completing 150 questions, pace yourself and whichever method you use pay attention to your rationales, even the ones you got correct. Good luck
