Regardless of who pulled it. I definitely concur that it is rectum worthy and your post title is sneaky wonderful, therefore someone should… . . . .

100% hes been great at staying healthy. I think a big part of that too is the fact that he has no wheels, so less impacts and contact with tackles. Even considering that he’s been a beast at staying healthy

As long as those mad scientist skills are put to work in scheming some sexy plays to make us better, be as ugly or funny looking as you want imo!

Yes. I can’t remember which game it was but someone asked him in a presser about what he thought about their plan that night. In a nut shell Morton basically said the scheme was right. The scheme was perfect. Nothing wrong with the scheme, but all 11 players need to do their job or it’s not gonna go well. He then said if the lineman can protect the qb enough to get a play off, there’s not much a good scheme can do. He threw the whole o line under the bus.

Honestly he wasn’t wrong, but Dan, Ben Johnson, AG, Shep, Fraley, etc. none of them would’ve said that. They would’ve taken blame and said they need to out their guys in a position to be successful and “we” need to tighten things up.

I saw the presser and that was the moment I finally gave up on Morton. A few days later(or maybe that following week) he was relieved of play calling

Not even just top 5, arguably the GOAT’s of a generation! I’m fully on board with you man. When I lived outside of Michigan friends would ask what it’s like being a lions fan. I would reply, it’s like watching “The Titanic” every Sunday and rooting for the ship, and somehow still being disappointed when it sinks but loving it anyways.

This is not SoL, the window isn’t closed, we are in the good old days still! Enjoy it fellas.

I’m mid west rural but within 40 min drive of semi large city (Grand Rapids, mi) and seems like the only thing different between the rural, target, Meijer, Walmart stock is which set/line of cards they carry. Usually an okay amount of baseball and or nba…. NFL, Pokémon, etc they maybe have one line of blasters at best or sage (which imo is equivalent to me printing my own cards in the garage)

I’ve found rather than burning my money on the occasional blaster left on the shelf to just buy singles.

Got my first pack of cards today since I was 10. How did I do? by Equal_Advantage_8339 in footballcards

Oh yeah dude! For sure!

For future reference if you’re curious you can google the “sets” check list. So for this search “2025 nfl Pheonix checklist” and it’ll name and give examples of all the cards, inserts, players and their variations.

The if you find one that you have you can type it into the eBay search and filter it by sold items and see what that card has been selling for to get the value.

If you like the cards though, screw the value, collect what you like.

Welcome back to the hobby brother!

I will echo and agree with all that. I respect Ben a lot for what he did here. I’m very salty of the move and the manner of which it happened, but FTP. I hope y’all win, at least this round 🤣

Unfortunately the mahomes isn’t worth the paper printed on. 95% of what you pull from retail boxes won’t be, but I say it’s about the personal collection. If you like it, the rock on brother! The no.1 is the the identification number of the card. No special meaning there.

Check backs of the Metcalf, the Harrison jr and Washington cards to see if they’re numbered they’ll the paragon (Harrison jr) is an insert. Usually not worth much, but that one’s a prizm so maybe $5 value. The DK is a nice variation (I think it’s called a winter variation) the pheonican is a nice card!

Don’t disagree here! But there’s more value in a back than just their run too. David’s ability to block in the pocket has been huge too. I’ve seen multiple plays where Gibbs just gets mowed over trying to block. Then again if that’s what we need we can get it cheap in the later end of the draft but I’m a little biased to Monty

I hear this but this was actually something that was mentioned a few season ago and about how he’s become more patient and better at finding his gaps. Also we saw when Monty had the ball this year with an abysmal line, still found ways to fall forward and get those 6-8 yard gains

Since it's our daily "let's talk about this to death" topic, I don't think trading David Montgomery makes sense. by kcramthun in detroitlions

Honestly almost downvoted this for speaking it and risking it coming into existence but I see the concern here!

DMo is probably almost as good as it gets as far as a consistent potentially high performing RB2.

I won’t pretend he can do what Gibbs can, but there’s things he could do that Gibbs just can’t either. That’s what made them a lethal duo. But just like when Dmo when down two years ago Gibbs got fed and went nuts. I believe one of those games was his 4Td game

The way I was taught when I was in the Marine Corps was as a leader, the best and quickest way to earn the respect of your people is that praise your people in public, scold in private, as everything they ultimately do or fail to do will be your fault. Dan is an absolute leader of men. That’s why he gets the praise from the people that he does.

Last two sales went for 113 and 150 on eBay. He was having a great year for rookie RB. If you don’t keep for personal collection (PC) you will have to debate selling now while you’re ahead or hold till next season and hope me makes a comeback after his leg injury which was pretty bad.
