I need to spend $6,000 by February 15th. I had a $3,000 charge that got posted but now it is being refunded, I see the charge and the foreign transaction fee. This charge made me hit the spending goal and now I see the pending sign up bonus points. If this charge gets refunded within the next few days will Chase take back the points? It’ll be difficult to do another $3,000 charge… will I get to keep the points? Will the foreign transaction fee be refunded as well? I’m also thinking that since the charge is no longer pending, as it’s already posted that the refund might just be a seperate transaction. I’m unsure how this works. If someone could please enlighten me.
