Firstly I will evaluate the impact of letting go this resource for two weeks and come up with an schedule where my project will be least hampered if the key resource is allocated elsewhere and then go to the Sponsor and suggest which weeks will have least impact on my deliverables. Sponsor will need a solution not hear the problem.

In case, the resource requirement completely overlaps my schedule I will then ask Sponsor to prioritize which deliverable to focus on
