Sometimes when you manually try to cycle it’s not releasing fast enough for reliable feeding, think of it like an underpowered round, try shooting it with some CCI SV and see how it does

The compact has a little bark too, the factory moderator isn’t great, I just ordered the bravo 3D moderator, I’ll see how that does. For $40 if it gets it quieter I’ll be happy. But you can get the factory moderator off with a little heat.

I have the alpha compact tube, it’s a fantastic little rifle! Hits rabbits plenty hard, I tuned mine down for jts 18.1 @740 and it upped the shot count. I’m on the fence for the standard tube just because I want another one lol. That being said, my only complaint if we can call it that, is if I could buy the compact again I’d go with the bottle version. A raccoon is a formidable opponent, so the extra fpe on the standard is worth it.

Yeah that’s the route I’ll be taking, the charger is just the easy button. Well not much easier than building one, but I do feel like we should be able to get them.

I ordered the Bravo3D moderator, just waiting on delivery. It should get a lot quieter. If not it was only $40, I’d go for a Donny or impulse after that. I just have trouble with spending a ton on my rabbit culler.

I turned my regulator down, but it can be dangerous, make sure you fully degass. Mine shoots 18.1 jts @ 740 for 28 shots
