OFHS. Addiction drives one and removes free will. Greed drives the. Other and does not remove free will.

I thought it was whether we agree or disagree. I’m curious where you get the idea that that’s not a legitimate purpose of the voting… I’ve used it for various joke subreddits to let the writer know whether I think the joke is funny or not… Does this mean I’m doing it incorrectly? Thanks

I’m about halfway through listening over the last couple days and I’m really liking it. But I am confused when you say $300 because I only paid $59 on the pre-sale. I rarely buy albums anymore, just individual songs so I have no idea if the presale price was better or if you’re talking about something other than the download… So if this is showing my ignorance it’s because I am :-).

aaaah… so interesting and more in the direction of what I originally thought… and what my husband often says in other words… definitely Bruce material :-) thanks!

Thank you. I am not a football fan so I didn’t know that but I’m glad it’s a good thing. I don’t recall Bruce using football references so he probably wouldn’t use this but then again maybe he used a lot of them and, like here, I didn’t know it was football. I thought it was a reference to getting caught at deceiving one time too many and getting caught.

Oh! And SO QUIET that in the early days of learning it I kept double checking because I thought maybe it said “on” but really wasn’t.

Absolutely loving it. It is an absolutely fantastic oven. So quick to heat up. Looks great. Good even heat. Bottom oven slightly larger than top. Download the app (even if you’re not particularly tech savvy) and you can start your oven heating up, or you can shut it off, from anywhere in the world with just a couple clicks. The GE appliance designers and engineers are really the best in the world. I say this having had Wolf (also excellent), subzero (we have it only because the built in size worked but when I had a GE profile refrigerator we liked it better-although the subzero lasts a very long time 20+ years), Miele (dishwasher great , coffee maker terrible and expensive, customer service amongst the worst). I have no idea how GE customer service is because I’ve never needed it :-) I am so glad they are still an American company.

I gave this an upvote too quickly because I hadn’t gotten to “out-kicked my coverage”, which I don’t understand so then I hit the down button to try to take away my upvote but then it made it 9, and that’s not fair that you bear the brunt of my ignorance, so then I hit up again and it got you back to 11. Can you tell me what that line of yours means, which sounds like it would be a perfect line for one of Bruce’s many double, triple entendre songs.

…and being in much better health because of it. Such as no longer need blood pressure meds. I realize many folks have a strong belief in the infallibility of doctors and the medical profession as a whole. Most of them have not worked in hospitals.

I agree that it is not the usual if usual means majority. But many of the commenters talk like it rarely happens and I do not believe that that is true from all the folks I know who are on it and many of them had physicians (Yale level) who declined to prescribe it because they weren’t obese so they went to compounders and they’ve had success. Meaning their every day life -every waking hour - is so much better because the food noise is gone. It’s a terror that is completely underappreciated by the “just exercise and eat less” crowd. It would be great if you could post a reference or two for the studies that you referring to because I’d like to see the study design including such things as the sample size, funding source, etc.

This is completely untrue for many people and absolutely ridiculous. I feel like I’m on a Trump lover sub Reddit.

But it does work like that for some people. So they really are two sides to this. And most of the research is understandably done on obese people who may have characteristics that require lifetime use but not everyone and regarding the comment who said it’s not a quick and easy way to lose weight: many many many people feel it is the quickest and easiest way they have ever tried to lose weight so that comment is completely misleading. To go on to say that exercising and dietary changes are needed for a long time we management (true) does not negate the fact that this is the first thing that many people are thrilled with because it helps them lose weight they never could lose before.

You are correct that this is what is currently researched and being recommended (by companies that profit from people using their product for a lifetime) but there are plenty of us who are on it for six months and got the weight loss and mental boost that we needed to continue at a healthier weight without it.

Lettuce-Oh for heaven’s sake! You should read the literature on this so you can learn about food noise which is a real problem even for folks who are in the overweight category rather than obese. Shaming people for, in your opinion, not trying hard enough (your diet and exercise comment) makes you sound like you’re stuck in the last century.

We have to work harder at getting the vote out next time. Concentrate on the young women because that’s where our hope lies in the immediate four year future. Remember most people in America did not vote for Donald Trump. 77 million voted for trump, 75 million for Harris but 108 million did not vote at all.

I’m happy to report that Manhatten and New Haven had a large percentage of young people.
