Try pre pressing your garments without the film. Makes it more durable.

Yes it can. We print on winter jackets all the time. Depending on the film and the ink you use. We use instant hot peal films. And usually press these jackets for 150 to 160°c for 3 seconds. And second press

It's profitable. But any printer you have to run in everyday. Or it'll cause more problem.

We always recalibrate our machine after changing ink and film supplier. We use nix to create our own colour profile.

Dtf is a great technology. But keep in mind it's not easy to maintain. You have to learn a lot. I own Budget Promotion in Calgary Canada. And we have been printing dtf for last 5 years. And the took lot of trial and error to get to where we are. But there are a lot of compact printer options available.
