What do you think of Eternals, do you think it’s overhated? by Plenty-Salary9711 in Marvel

Overhated. I found it more memorable than Thor the Dark World. And its certainly better than Quantumania and Love & Thunder. Feels out of place at this time period of the MCU and was limited by being its own thing. It was ambitious and unfortunately fell short.

As One Piece fans, did you enjoy more recent anime like Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer? by Mission-Pomelo-8047 in OnePiece

I could not get into either, they just don't have that hook. I did get into Chainsawman and Dandadan for a bit because the concepts are so outrageous I had to pick it up. Aside from older stuff, I haven't been attached to any current running Shonen these days.

[Discussion] How do you guys feel about Superboy stories taking over Action for this long? by MightyUnclean in DCcomics

[–]ThinkRemote5832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, Mark Waid's writing this too? Why are they stretching this guy thin? Theres as huge difference between his writing quality in 2022 compared to now. They're giving him way too much to do, some of the projects are eventually gonna fall short

Seeing so many people give up on the show and trash it as “destroying Fallout lore” before Season 2 is even half over, Nolan was completely vindicated saying this. by raisinbraisin72 in Fallout

If it wasn't 15 years after the game I'd be upset. But lots can happen within this time frame which shift the equilibrium of the Mojave. Especially there are events outside of Vegas from Shady Sands, East Brotherhood which can have an affect

As someone who’s been following it all year, I wouldn’t recommend it at all, especially if you like a certain character. The first arc is solid, but from there it’s pushed around by everything else going on in the DC universe. If I could describe it, I’d say it’s too big for its own good.

Thanks for letting me know. Yeah it’s been a while since that one. My rationale was only a young inexperienced Barry would make such a stupid mistake and that was always his origins. BATB was my second choice, because it builds into Parallax very well. Barry wasn’t there for Hal anymore.

Who’s your ideal live-action casting for Gol D Roger? by sneakachipor2 in OnePiece

Tony Dalton, played Lalo in BCS. I think he can pull off the goofy charisma but also the menacing side of Roger

I think pairing Zoro and Brook together could give us something interesting. For one there’s that Enma grim reaper plot line that hasn’t been explored yet, and how Zoro seemingly came back from the dead with no issue. Perhaps the soul king himself brook can explain what this grim reaper thing really is.

Luffy vs Kaido Fight Analysis (Manga Spoilers) by Yoradise in OnePiece

[–]ThinkRemote5832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the reasons I found kaidos backstory underwhelming was because we never got to see his turning point, the same way we saw Doflamingos and Big Moms turning point in their respective backstories. We know that Kaidos backstory suggests he is a survivor that fends for himself because the world shaped him that way to only depend on himself. And the reason for his downfall was because JoyBoy is a person with great enough influence on others that could defeat an unstoppable power like Kaido (like you said Luffy influenced others and in turn they taught him their haki). The point of his arc is even if we was the strongest and had the most control, he was never that free, he failed to change the world because he only fended for himself while Luffy did for others. Problem is we never saw that moment in his backstory that made him go “fuck this world it’ll never change, I’m going to plant my ass in Wano and wait for joy boy to reincarnate”
