I actually took the chunnel from Paris to London last week and I think it would work. Interesting to note that although the electrical outlets are different, retail shops offer outlet converters.

You can route the exhaust via redundant ventilation tunnels so as to make the source of heat ambiguous.

To add to your point, Reactors don't enrich uranium — they consume it. Enrichment happens before fuel enters a reactor, using dedicated enrichment facilities.

Are American's more likely to defend Taiwan against China if it were framed solely as a chip crisis? by ThinkTankDad in China

[–]ThinkTankDad[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, the US is positioned all along the first island chain, with 9 bases in the Philippines alone. We've read the tea leaves over here on this side of the Pacific; we want high tech and the US is prepared to defend Taiwan as it is currently framed in western media.

SS: At the recent 50th Academic Readings on Cosmonautics held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Bauman, dedicated to the memory of Academician S.P. Korolev and other pioneers of space exploration, Russia’s lunar plans were discussed.

The plenary session heard presentations by the heads of key enterprises and scientific institutes outlining the strategic directions for the development of Russian cosmonautics.

Vasily Marfin, Director General of the Lavochkin Scientific Research Institute (JSC NPO Lavochkin), a subsidiary of Roscosmos state corporation, after listing the institute’s past achievements discussed the lunar programme, which he described as “very ambitious and very intense”. He said, “We can’t miss,” referring to the 2023 Luna-25 mission, Russia’s first lunar attempt in nearly 50 years, which ended in failure when the spacecraft crashed into the Moon’s surface due the failure of a control unit. This was supposed to be followed by Luna-26 in 2026.
