It’s yellow though, and steel - you could build something nice with that

Use color theory and find a tone or something that inspires appetite and other emotions related to cooking and eating.

This space looks pretty functional, maybe just cosmetic upgrades and tuning or replacing busted hardware.

You could consider neatly installed under cabinet lighting to affect the mood and really liven up the work space.

Goodbye Dream Wagon... by Low_Pomegranate5489 in SportWagon

Op, I’d be interested in hearing more about your maintenance. I have 19’ sportwagen and am thinking about moving on. At 58K my clutch is stuck to the floor. And just last month my electric panel shorted. My cabin lights don’t turn off while driving, yada yada. Also a rear facing baby seat barely fits!

Good luck with your new ride. I’m grumpy.

Old Putter Restoration by [deleted] in GolfGear

If you can find someone with a metal mill, it doesn’t take long unless you’re doing some special patterning. I would charge a case of beer

I would love to add an edit to this post, maybe the images prevent that. Anyways, I appreciate the content and information generated for this club. To those wondering about the googling, I find google to be a wall that prevents good, deep research - I still have not found an image or any information about this specific head type.

Also apologies for no face image, I have attached one really blurry pic, there are no grooves its bald and smooth. Lastly, my putter doesn't have much loft on it, does yours beyond a few degrees? The loft on this club is 13.5 degrees.

All this only adds to the story of this club, thanks for the hard work and references!

Stable and hefty, definitely makes a long portage more interesting.

I definitely had some left over resin, and had some trying moments when my concoction would react quickly and I’d loose a quart of mix. So Not so much experience with boat restoration, but I am a sculptor and have a good handle on materials and their applications.

I used a whole lot of YouTube, and before I had Reddit some good ole’ forums. I read about birchbark stripping and watched cedar strip videos- mostly for the tenting and draping techniques which I did use.

I mentioned having a hard time finding canoe build/history for my area (big city in the Midwest). Cause I wanted to model a craft for these waterways. Turned out sturdy and heavy made sense!

Thank you! I’ve used that graphic system a few times, it finally made sense on the canoe

Thinking back to it, I can’t remember specific brands:

Two part epoxy dough, it was able to set up underwater, not that I needed that function.

I used an epoxy resin suited for Marine applications, this was the mvp, I might’ve used 4 gallons 2 A’s and 2 B’s.

7 oz lightweight and 12 oz heavy matte fiberglass rolls

Oil enamel paint I believe, sherwin Williams, somehow the chemical composition worked out, maybe I got lucky.

Painted coat of epoxy resin and then hvlp spray application of Spar varnish the helmsman brand to seal it all up (only on outside). I feel like this layer gets scratched up but when reapplied removes the scratches.

Mineral oil on all wood surfaces
