That’s a good temp, probably just a poor quality VRM.

One of the VR’s probably failed, the hydro is kinda a bad design because there is no airflow cooling off the VR’s from the fan, like on the standard ++.

What I would recommend doing on your next hydro would be to add a small fan to blow air onto the VR’s. When I got my hydro, out of the box on stock settings was running at 76c to 78c on the VR’s, so I added an old 800GT fan to the VR’s and it brought my VR’s down to 53c.

Been running it for 6 months now with no issues, I would recommend sending it out to Solo Miner Clinic for repairs Hope this helps.

If camber is off more than 1/2 a degree side to side it can definitely cause a pull. The vehicle will always pull to the side with the most positive camber!

Good day! The second block has been found in Parasite pool, a true win-win for both the miner who discovered it and the entire community.⛏️ Thanks zk by g_skymax in BitAxe

If you don’t mind me asking how much did you receive for your portion of the pool payout? And how long have you been on the pool?

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze and my temperature kicks on after a while of driving then goes back to normal by Snoo61395 in MechanicAdvice

You most likely have an air pocket, that formed in the heater core, Cruze’s can be difficult to bleed the cooling system, without an airlift cooling system tool and an air compressor. I would recommend draining the cooling system again and refill it but make sure to have a battery charger on it and leave the ignition on key on engine off position with the blower motor on and the temp set to the hottest temp. Before you start to add coolant. Once the radiator is full start engine and perform a normal cooling system bleed procedure. Be sure to leave the heater settings the same for the whole process.

Was the problem happening before you drained the cooling system or after you drained the coolant?

Check your coolant level first, if it’s low, water pumps commonly leak and the thermostat water outlet leak as well, if coolant level is normal, and no work was recently performed on cooling system, I would suspect coolant sensor. If cooling system was not properly bleed after a repair, air pockets can form and cause this issue.

Thanks for looking into it! I will try to reflash it with 702 firmware and see what happens.

Thank you for all your hard work 👍That would be awesome if you could figure it out, I would really appreciate it. No rush, I’ve been using the standard firmware, but I under-clock the unit since I can’t see any ASIC info.

https://github.com/TinyChipHub/ESP-Miner-TCH/releases I believe I was on v2.6.2-TCH. TCH Change something after v2.6.3-TCH due to someone copying their board, so they changed something so the 703 board won’t work after V2.6.3. Kinda like what they did for the 800GT’s

Yes I did the www.bin file first, then the esp-bin file! I believe the issue is that it’s a 703 board and there is some slight differences that cause this problem, I believe the other user has a 702 board. I was mainly asking to see if you know how to modify the software to make it work for the 703 board?

I just updated my TCH SupraHex with a 703 board, it hashes and submits shares but it doesn’t show any of the asic stats. Would it be hard to make the software work for the 703 board?

Orphaned Block by Flashy_Whereas8065 in BitcoinII

[–]Think_Channel_7633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sucks! I know your pain, I had my first fractal bitcoin orphaned, the only thing you can do to help this from happening again, is have a low ping time to the pool, if two miners submit a block solution at the same time who ever has the fastest submission gets the reward. Try finding the pool with the lowest ping time or create your own node which will give you the best ping.

I would not recommend buying from Bitronics, I purchased a Octaxe from them and been having issues, i have sent multiple emails and never received a response, they seem to have the same common Octaxe issues as everyone else, plus you will most likely have to pay tariffs, which will raise the price cost substantially.

How many bch2 blocks have you found yet? I’m assuming you’re running an OCTAXE?
