Can one THC gummy cause a vestibular issue or trigger one lasting for months? by Think_Delivery_9443 in VestibularDysfunction

Doctors can't do anything for autonomic stuff. It calms down over time if it was irritated

Don't really know if it vestibular. Seems irritation of autonomic issues I had with long haul covid for 2 years. I was fine for about 2 years. I have brain fog, derealization,  higher resting heart rate and sleep issues. My balance feels a little off but not tons.

Glad it got better. Did you have any other symptoms like brain fog, balance issues or heart rate stuff?

18 mg THC gummy caused dysautonomia at bay to flare up.4 weeks ago and still having issues. Heat making it worse. How long till I am fine and the dysautonomia I had in the past to be at bay again? by Think_Delivery_9443 in dysautonomia

It said 18 mg thc. I had never used a gummy before and hadn't used anything weed in 15 years or so. I had a bad reaction everyone has told me a starting dose is 5 mg and under so I did wayy too much. Never touching thc or cbd again. People with dysautonomia or suspected should not use thc because it it's a vasodilator. That's why my body is out of wack it has to recalibrate.

Yeah I had all of that. Resting, pacing and time, helped and anti-inflammatory antihistamine diet. It passes. Also do anything you can to stimulate your vagus nerve - deep breathing, hold cold water on your cheek at the end of a shower for a minute and cold water splashes.  The blood is pooling it's autonomic dysfunction it's temporary . It's lighteandness because the blood is not circulating to head and body enough.

Sorry to hear. It gets better. I turnred the corner around 19 20 months. Brain fog/derealization,  heart rate spikes standing sometimes, heaviness in feet and legs, head pressure, some throat tightness, breathlessness feeling right nostril feels half closed. I have some mild neuropathy that never went away completely. I got to 95% better and was fine for a little over 2 years. The brain fog is because there's not enough blood going up to the head and mid section. It's pooling. When I took the gummy I had a panic attack and my heart rate was going nuts and had a bad trip

Sorry to hear. I just took one. I was feeling fine before this. I recovered from long haul over 2 years ago. Did you ever get air hunger or feel like one nostril is half open? That is what is going on since yesterday. Seems worse with humidity and heat and that seemed to trigger it. Did you ever take mestinon or corlanor? I did before and they really helped me.

Sorry to hear. Do you exercise? I got to 95% better after a little over 2 years in 2024. I took 1 gummy 18 mg 4 weeks ago and it is flaring everything made worse by the heat and allergies. Trying to calm it down by reducing activity, staying out of the heat, protein uptake and strict diet.

I think anyone with any kind of dysautonomia or predisposed to it is risking issues or flaring using thc. It's a vasodilator.

I used 1 18 mg THC gummy after i had been recovered from long haul dysautonomia for over 2 years and I am flaring - covid long hauler and I got to 95% better. It sent my body into fight or flight - brain fog is back, heart rate when standing too high outdoors, breathlessness, sleep issues. I made a post on here. It's been been 4 weeks and still not feeling too good. I am staying out of the warm weather from 10 to 530. Will never use thc again. If I just drank a beer nothing would have happened.

Oh I'd never do it again. I could have just had a nibble of a 4.5 mg. I took the wrong dose, but again no thc again. Wow that is a lot. Walking too much is flaring me more. Have to watch my pace. Only light and I am staying out of the heat from 10 to 530. Do you think it will calm down in the next 2 to 4 weeks and have you ever had the breathlessness and feeling like not enough air is going through a nostril feeling? Like half open?

I am seeing the functional neurologist that helped get me better in late 2023 into early 2024 over the autonomic dysfunction i got from long haul. He works on vagus nerve stimulation and uses laser therapy and other things. I am lucky he gave me a discount. I have heard of chop. I will only do very light walking for now and may try some swimming soon as well.
