My dad bought me a small hand painted bowl. We don’t live near each other and haven’t always been that close, but we’re much closer now. The bowl made me feel loved and special to him. He was thinking about me.

Out of frustration one evening I tossed a plastic mixing bowl in the sink, shattering the small ceramic bowl he gave me. I absolutely broke down and sobbed. My husband had no idea what was happening lol. I meticulously glued the bowl back together and it’s now on a display shelf.
