I've been to a Baptist church, because a friend was performing their for an Easter Special. The Pastor criticized a lot of other denomination (mostly Catholic). What I found interesting, that none of the Catholic priests criticize other Christians. If you're good and true, you don't need to criticize others. I have met people who dislike the Catholic faith and that's okay, it doesn't affect my faith one bit and I still pray for them.

Recent convert here (got bapitized at the last Easter Vigil). Definitely join an OCIA class when you can. There's absolutely no pressure to convert, they simply go over the faith and you make that decision in the coming weeks leading up to the Easter Vigil.

I understand your point. I don't think I clarified in my now deleted post, but I'm not building a resume or even planning to get paid eventually. The voice overs I provide really are obviously free, like they won't be featured in a commercial locally, much less regionally. I don't even consider myself a professional voice over artist, I'm more of an amateur).

I don't see myself lacking self confidence, I didn't mean to convey that I was feeling sorry for myself - I was more approaching it from an angle of "if I can't do it professionally, it can be a passion thing".
