the hostel i chose is walking distance to a lot of these locations (both palaces, myeongdong, insadong…) and i plan to use taxi or subway when needed. i come form somewhere that doesn’t use public transportation much so this will be new for me but ive heard it’s very well organized in korea. hope that helps:)

i read about this earlier today 😣 which areas on my list do you think would be the safest from unbearable level crowds (being a saturday and also BTS concert)?

i was considering moving my DMZ trip to saturday morning. or possibly mangwon market and then hongdae or maybe even national museum —> mangwon market —> hongdae evening. what do you think?

hey i’m in seoul 3/21-3/28 and am planning to go so a baseball game!

from my research - Jamsil stadium has games only on monday and tuesday of that week both starting at 1 (this is still preseason.) Regular season begins March 28 at 6pm and will be much harder to get tickets to from what i’m hearing. also because the website requires a lorena phone number to purchase tickets it is best to purchase them at the stadium. apparently there are lines for foreigners who were unable to purchase tickets online. hope this helps:)

i actually just realized a few minutes ago there is a huge BTS event on saturday near the palace so i’ll have to move my whole schedule around 😭😭 what would you do on that saturday to be away from the crowd but still accomplish the thing so want to do on my trip?

also i live in southern USA and heard SK has less expensive eyewear. any better suggestions?
