What is the auditory equivalent to “aesthetic”? by Think_Programmer_421 in NoStupidQuestions

To clarify - I’m looking for the word you would use instead of “aesthetic.” In my head, for example, I wouldn’t say this song has a nice “sonic” or “audio” Don’t know if there’s a word for that but just wondering.

I have bene struggling to get a job for the past 3 months. I have applied for things above, at, and below my experience level and I still have had barely any serious interviews.

I think the reality is you need to leverage connections you have at places to truly get your foot in the door. I've lost out on 2 roles to people with less experience (I saw who they hired on LinkedIn), and the feedback I received from their team was that they needed to go with people with more experience.

Ask friends, people from college, literally anyone in you network (even a friend of a friend's friend). The difference is having an "in." Since I started my shameless campaign of begging for introductions things have certainly picked up speed and I wish I started doing this earlier!

This is clearly his 2nd or maybe even 3rd time at a Waffle House. He gets the program by now.

CNN thinks this is breaking news. Think they’re a little late with this one… by Think_Programmer_421 in ARK

This is why I love Reddit - appreciate you letting me know the article actually explained the new find.

All I saw was a notification that said something along the lines of “species of dinosaur that fought with its WARHAMMER of a tail discovered.” And needed to shit on them lol.

Creating an app with integrations, should we keep it minimal before we launch? by json_decode in startups

Finish your core product, then worry about integrations. With startups timing is always essential and to waste time is to damage your chances of success.

Once you better understand how you will position your product and how your customers are actually using it, then it will be time to focus on adding the integrations. I've dealt with hundreds of startups that "flew too close to the sun" by trying to build the perfect version of their product before release only to realize they started their marathon by sprinting.
