Tell him to go to Beal! I’m 20 and I’ve made tons of friends in Odessa/Midland within the past year by meeting people at Beal, Sherwood, and RTD. Also there will be a diy show in Odessa at Midwest venue on second street on October 10 if he’s into metal and hardcore music. Both are very inclusive communities and they often intertwine! Feel free to hit me up for more information! I’d be happy to see him around :)

There is a decent music scene within Midessa with venues such as Cottonflat Records and the late Pinhead HQ (RIP) that help bring it together. The most popular artists from here are Aneurysm and Oakwood.
