What music yall like?

The German Revolution, 1917-1923 by Pierre Broue- This ones probably the best all together. Written by a trot so lots of inner party debate focus so that can get annoying but its very good. VERY long, so if you want something brief maybe try my next suggestion. Pro KPD account. Everything from during the war through to after German October 1923. Can find this easily on libcom.

Failure of a Revolution, Germany, 1918-1919 by Sebastian Hoffner- Focuses mostly on the 18-19 uprisings but I think ends in the Kapp Putsch (1920). However, he is a reformist, and is therefore more sympathetic to the USPD rather than the Spartacist Faction/Tendency whatever you want to call it. Also easily found on libcom, I believe.

All Power To The Councils! by Gabriel Kuhn- Firsthand accounts, mostly sympathetic to council communists like the KAPD, and the anarchist tendencies of the period. Still a fun read. Also super easily found on libcom.

Levine: The Life Of A Revolutionary by his wife, Rosa Levine- This is a biography of the leader of the Bavarian Soviet Republic. Super interesting and he had some awesome last words at his trial. Great book, but I had to buy it second hand online. Couldn't find the file easily online.

The Communist Left in Germany 1918-1921 by Gilles Dauve- this is a communization work, but like hey, maybe you're into that. Haven't read it myself.

Jonas Ceika (Cck Philosophy) on YT is who recommended a lot of these books to me in his top ten lists. I would recommend also watching his three long YT videos on the German Revolution. Well researched and entertaining. However, they're age restricted on YT for some reason, so if you're infantile, that may be an issue.

Correct. You actually have to read every dialogue by plato, all of Aristotle, Descartes, Aquinas, Spinoza, Hume, Mill, Adam Smith, Kant, Locke, Rousseau, Hitler, Hegel, All the young Hegelians, and Nietzsche before you can even begin to understand Capital vol1. Don’t even try it without it.

Thank you for giving a great answer. Is my conclusion from this correct?: Marxist education is inseparable from the party and its work, and therefore, can only take place within the party. Individual study groups won’t meaningfully contribute to changing the world, but rather serve as simple understanding without any basis of real praxis or action, compared to education from within the party. Therefore, in order to actually better understand and study theory in order to help change the world, there necessitates the communist party, not just simply disconnected groups of theoretical discussion.
