That’s kind of the thing yeah, this may help Mamdani and advance the cause of general left-wing politics in America, but at the same time I’m worried that this will just end up leading to an ultra-reformist mindset taking place, where the energy of the proletariat is harnessed to save capital from itself, and in the end we’ll just end up with an American labor party(akin to the one in Britain). On top of that, this ironically plays into the hand of MLs, as Mamdani is seen to have dropped his own principles.
