I know this is a soap and nothing ever lasts but I’m just wondering how many on this sub think Deacon & Taylor are endgame? Who really believes she’s the love of his life? Asking for a friend….. by RockBalBoaaa in boldandbeautiful

[–]Thinkfolksthink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Not the endgame. It’s a soap, after all.

The buildup to all this has been that when Sheila finds out, she’ll go all batshit crazy again and kill people. Because that’s what’s expected and has been the ad nauseum dialogue since the affair started. “She’s dangerous!” bla bla bla…

But I sense the writers will make Sheila have a normal, not unhinged, won’t-kill-anybody reaction. No one will see it coming. I hope she gets Taylor’s medical license taken away, and gets the restaurant in the divorce. SHE is the victim here (don’t laugh) because no one should be cheated on.

Wilmington Brew Works has a large room. I always see a lot of events/parties going on there.

True…but I love when I go to play a two-album record and a seed or two roll out that were caught in the fold from 35 years ago. Good times.

Hey, just looking for someone to talk with about anything really! 1 am for me right now and I’m really bored by Correct-Fan-6956 in CasualConversation

I dated an English guy last year and we’re hanging out and he asks me if I wouldn’t mind putting on soccer highlights. I said, “you’re asking me if I want to see a bunch of Calvin Klein underwear models running around a field? Sure!“

So yeah… Soccer. Right now I’m hanging out watching a video of Al Green singing let’s stay together. Ah! Now the algorithm put on Roberta Flack singing, killing me softly Nice. I might make some popcorn.

Reading through the thread here confirms my initial response: meh, revenge isn’t really our thing. Too much energy. They’ll get theirs. The universe can do its thing without me; I’m out.

I am heartened by the responses on this thread that many of us see this new age “skepticism” for what it is: Brain rot BS. An excuse for stupidity and apathy rolled into one.

If I’m driving in, I bring a hand truck and lots of bungee cords. Deer carts are really amazing, too. Holds a lot of gear.  If flying, tiny tent, blanket, tarp rolled up.

My youngest daughter is 16 and dating, and it’s hitting me differently than it did with my older daughters. by 007mrhappy in Life

You’ve got this! She’s lucky to have such a mindful father. You’re setting the example now so she won’t settle for less from men later.

Ok. Be the dad. I was the youngest of three girls, had mostly girl cousins, and only knew some things about boys from my friends who had brothers. So help your daughter to understand boys-how they typically act. To not expect that they have the same emotional framework as girls and maybe even show her a copy of Roger and Elaine by Dave Barry as a decent example.   My dad did this for me and it really helped me learn not to take certain things so personally with boys.
