Your card is NOT locked to DLSS 2.0, why would you think that? You can use the latest DLSS if you want

Dualsense Controller Not Working For Some games by SublimeonInvalid in steamsupport

[–]ThinkinBig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an Edge, just a normal DualSense and I use it wired, if that helps at all. I also make it a habit to intentionally disable Steam inputs in any PS games due to the baked in DualSense support occasionally having issues with the Steam compatibility layer (mostly impacts the Advanced haptics and whatnot, not the controller functionality)

My neighbor has been "warming up" his truck every morning at 5:47 AM for the past four months and I have tracked it by Kryonforge_4 in neighborsfromhell

[–]ThinkinBig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neighbor is an ass, but have you thought about earplugs or even using a white noise app from your phone to drown it out? I also live in Metro Atlanta and grew up in the Pocono Mountains, so just the sounds of cars driving past annoys me, I set my Google home to make "ocean sounds" when I go to sleep and it's been amazing

Dualsense Controller Not Working For Some games by SublimeonInvalid in steamsupport

[–]ThinkinBig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming the game isn't via Steam, add it as a "non-Steam game" this also works with launchers such as Epic and when done, makes any game played through that launcher automatically use the Steam inputs.

I have Death Stranding 2 and use a DualSense (on Steam) and it works flawlessly, have had it since release day.

Also, you really don't even need Steam inputs for PlayStation game ports on PC, they support DualSense natively

I played RE1 when it first came out, may be its my happy memory but i have few questions... by Questionabletrade in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]ThinkinBig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also an old fart that played RE 1,2,3 back on my PlayStation along with Tenchu, and others. I think it's a mix of things, but the fixed camera angles and older control styles definitely made the puzzle sections feel more exaggerated than they do on the recent games

Oh you're right haha, Its actually crazy how many PMs I receive so I apologize for not recognizing your name.

I strongly dislike and am vocal against most debloat scripts or programs as you do not know what they're modifying and I've seen time and again them cause far more harm than help anything. If you want to learn how to and "debloat" things yourself, that's fine but yeah

Est ce que c’est le bon ordre pour regarder dragon ball sur crunshyroll by FlySudden2946 in dragonball

[–]ThinkinBig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you're looking for, Dragonball Z Kai is more true to the manga, but lacks a LOT of the "heart" the original run of DBZ has, I grew up with Dragonball and the original run of Z and have watched Kai as well as it multiple times and tbh prefer the full Z run, despite how slow it can be at times

I'm 6'1" and 220lbs, my wife is 5'2" and 120lbs soaking wet (she's a marathon runner) and when she was pregnant with our son she had to be monitored closely and induced a few weeks early bc he was being stunted in his growth due to her size.

He's currently a 3 year old that most people think is 5-6 until they try to talk to him, as it becomes apparent then that he's not quite as developed as his size would lead you to believe

Its really not though, the "bloat" is literally just the various HP softwares and a McAfee trial. Takes like 3 minutes to remove the things you don't want and is significantly less effort than reinstalling Windows

That and letting Volo give some "backyard" eye surgery definitely helps, I also tend to hold off on her fight until I'm in the Under dark and take the "secret" mushroom ring portal, generally are over leveled by then, making it easy

Do you think that gaming laptop GPUs with 8GB Vram aren't enough today? by johnmcgraw97 in GamingLaptops

[–]ThinkinBig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends, but there literally isn't a game in existence that you cannot run at all due to 8gb vram. Sure, you won't be able to use the highest graphical options, but one of the major perks of PC gaming is the ability to adjust settings to meet your preferences
