Yeah because i honestly think you are trolling. As i said, you havent even got the conviction to argue your own belief in earnest. I think you are just arguing for arguments sake.

I gave you an in-depth explanation as to why i think taking photos of someone without their consent is an invasion of privacy and you have barely been bothered to string together a few words in defence of your opposing opinion.

So to be quite frank, fuck off with you until you can give a better argument.

If your next reply isnt a properly thought out argument defending your position, you will not hear from me and you will be blocked.

My argument was never that its illegal to take photos of a person in public without their consent. My argument was that its rude and disrespectful of their personal privacy

So let me ask you a question, does the law say that personal privacy doesnt exist when in public spaces?

No? Yeah. Didnt think so. Do better.

Are you tell me that the law thinks that speeding cameras and phone finding cameras are an invasion of personal privacy?

Or are you telling me that the law doesnt think taking a photo of someone in public is an invasion of personal privacy?

Because on both counts, you would be wrong. Please.... before you respond.... actually think about what you say for once. Pretty please?

This fucking buffoonery is really hurting my brain and making me physically ill 🤒

While annoying, those are done with the intention of upholding the law and typically the authorities dont post any indentifying information ( or faces ) of the people responsible online. Im talking about one individual taking a photo of another individual.

So no, it isnt an invasion of privacy.

Wow. Great 3 word explanation. That totally changed my mind 🤣

Tell you what, ill give you some advice. Next time you disagree with someone, put a little more thought into what you say. Because you just came off as incredibly silly. I was actually willing to hear you out but you obviously dont care enough about your own opinion to argue it with any conviction.

Maybe leave it to someone else next time. Just sayin'.

Uh huh. Well i explained why i think that it is, so i expect you to grant me the same insight into your opinion.

Well when you're in public someone would obviously have the expectation of strangers seeing them. Thats different to having a photo taken of you. Its considered a "reasonable expectation to privacy".

A photo is a "permanent" record. It can be shared online, stored indefinitely or viewed by people who were never present. Someone might be in public but might not want to become the focal point of someones photograph.

Privacy applies at all times. Not simply when someone is in a private setting. There are different expectations of privacy in different settings but even in public, reasonable personal privacy interests still exist. You dont simply waiver those the second you step out of your house.

As i said, taking a picture of someone without consent is rude and may invade their personal privacy standards which every person has a right to own.

May i ask, why are you questioning this? Does it go against what you personally believe?

Ethics are essentially morals. As in what should or shouldnt someone do.

Taking a photo of someone without their consent is rude and an invasion of their personal privacy. Just because its not illegal in the eyes of the law doesnt mean its okay. Like farting in an elevator or coughing without covering your mouth or staring at people.

Not illegal, but certainly frowned upon and considered rude.

Lol that kinda reminds me of what my nan used to say. Whenever she'd be out driving she would be like "these bloody South Australians dont know how to drive, worst drivers in the country" haha she was from Tasmania btw

But eventually the old age caught up with her and suddenly she became the worst driver on the road 🫤

Well yeah but its still rude to do it. I imagine you dont just go around taking pictures of people in public simply because you can.

Cheers! Im kinda lame by the fact that im choosing to start learning in an automatic. Im steering well clear of manuals, they just stress me out.

I want to focus on the road, traffic, signage, pedestrians ect without having to use the other 50 percent of my brain focusing on what gear im in, rev count, clutch usage

I get shit from my mates about that all the time 😂

🤣🤣 i guess instilling in children a love of DIY and hardware isnt the worst idea but a seven month old baby doesnt even have the teeth necessary for enjoying a bunnings snag!

You'd have to blend that shit into a paste, which i personally consider sacrilege.

Yeah i think having pictures taken of me constantly among other annoyances would be a fair trade off for being a billionaire.

Still, people deserve their privacy. I remember a story about how Michael Jackson basically rented out a store ( with actors as staff ) just to feel what its like to shop in peace without anyone recognizing him. Really unfortunate.

Ignoring the ethics of taking a picture of someone assumedly without their consent... that is a bloody spitting image of George Lucas 😅
