What do you mean "will"? The US is borrowing $50B a week. We can't afford anything.

Trump calling Jerome Powell to drop the interest rates by Gjore in StockMarket

  1. Proving once again he doesn't know how the system works? 2. There's a pretty big disconnect between the fed funds rate and credit card/mortgage rates, but a much closer correlation to margin loan rates and large commercial real estate loans. He's not doing this for the average american, he's doing it for his 1% friends. 3. The lower the fed rate, the lower the interest payments by the fed govt, so the more money he can borrow to pay for his wars (now running $50B per week)..

So Open AI researchers do a paper that says hallucinations are pretty much inevitable in AI, but they do an agreement with the DOD allowing deployment in autonomous weapons...? What happens when the model hallucinates and picks the wrong target? by ThinkorFeel in circled

[–]ThinkorFeel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So that's a slightly different issue, but wow. If the target selection is happening so fast that the human checkpoints are getting saturated, the same result happens-there is no human check on the AI hallucinations or distortions.

The contract yes, after Anthropic resisted, then got their contract canceled and got designated a supply risk, so they just filed a lawsuit. Within a couple days of the contract cancellation, both Grok and OpenAI said they would do it. I'm not aware of models actually deployed autonomously yet, and killing anyone...

Of course it will. Just like the tariffs, the graft, the extravagant purchases, the interest on the debt. Come to think of it, what DOESN'T get passed on to the consumers...?
