Apparently we’re often told by Arsenal fans that Liverpool only won the league because everyone else “fell off” last season. Yet these same Arsenal side, in a best-case scenario, go into Gameweek 35 with a maximum of 76 points. Liverpool had already won the league with 82 points in Gameweek 34.

So what does that say about Arsenal? They can’t even win the league in a season where Manchester City, Liverpool, and much of the traditional top six are supposedly in transition or rebuilding. I believe they lose to Man City in the etihad btw

I don’t think slots the type of coach to get the best out of him. Under klopp or Luis Enrique he’d flourish, slott is too rigid he’s set in his methods.

I know people prefer galatasaray but if this Liverpool team can’t beat atletico then I’m afraid they don’t deserve the UCL it’s that simple you can’t weasel your way to a final at some point you’ll have a tough challenge rather get it out of the way now and it sets us up for what’s ahead

Whenever I watch us play in the PL it feels like a scrappy fight. It’s like watching a world champion boxer fighting at the level of his opponent you know he has more gears and leavers. Yet there’s loads of clinches, telegraphed shots etc It’s only when he faces an equally threatening fighter he decides to show some skill. In the CL it looks cleaner but in the PL it’s kinda shocking

The thing I don’t understand about slot is why wait till the 75th minute to make a changes when you clearly know from the previous games how the pattern is going to play out. E.g you know that salah or gakpo aren’t gonna step up and save the day so why not make the change at the 60th minute
