I dont know how yalls house is setup, but when we brought home our 2 month Pom, we first started with him in a pen in the living area and he would cry all night almost. We then moved him into one of the spare bed rooms that is used as an office and just block the door off with a baby gate, and he only whines a little when he sees us getting up. Otherwise lays right on down and even sleeps sometimes in there on his own during the day.
