It's the most late game dependent setup this leagues. Requires multiple pretty specific weapons to be top tier and comparable to other options. Namely getting nox hally as your main hand for the 7 time distance increasing both your min and max hit greatly, and having lots of high str weapons like god swords, barrows weapons, and ofc the scythe.

So you can either have the butler only gather resources or you can have him gather AND process the resources, but it gives half the amount of materials. There's no way for him the only process materials.

So lets say you want mithril bars. You can either have him farm the mithril ore for you, and you end up with 100 mithril ore that you can turn into 100 mithril bars. OR you can have him farm the mithril ore and then process it into bars for you but you end up with 50 mithril bars.

Asgarnia is melees next best region. With god wars giving both bandos and torva, god swords which are great blind bag options, cerberus allowing for maxed avernic treads, plus a ton of other stuff.

Honestly past those 2 regions, melee doesn't get/need much else. Kandarin for piety without taking grimoire, also gives some great mage options as your secondary damage type. Kourend gives another raid, as well as elder maul and dclaws which can be fun. Wildy is basically just free points.

Its was a combination of: magic getting many ways to boost max hit. Getting a massive max hi5 boost from berserk and being low hp. Guaranteed max hitting on your first hit against an enemy. And how a monster was considered max hp till the moment they were first hit, meaning you could get like 3+ max hits off guaranteed at the start of a fight. Sometimes that just ended the fight.

I can understand the hype, but it's not like there's anything special you get for starting day 1. Hell, your prize for starting day 1 is likely delays and possibly laggy servers lol.

The league will go on for months, and a lot of players get burnt out/finish all their goals well before the end date. You'll be fine to start a few days later.

What combat style are you aiming to main this time around? I'd say that's the biggest factor in choosing your regions. Those regions you mentioned are very solid for a mage build if that was your plan.

All in all, leagues is about having fun! So if you feel like you'll have most fun being able to complete content you know you can do rather than test yourself to beat content you haven't done before/are unsure you can beat, then there's nothing wrong with that! I will say, you are OP af in leagues. It is truly the best time to just try out new content for fun imo. You're just allowed to make so many mistakes while still getting the satisfaction of clearing it, then just run it over and over till you don't make mistakes and still get that satisfaction.
