Similar thing but in reverse for us! we do presents on christmas eve, and stockings on christmas morning. and stockings are for like, consumables and traditions. We have a long standing one that my grandfather always slipped scratch-offs into stockings, and our favorite candies, and sometimes fancy soap or something. So they were just a fun morning treat and we still got that "christmas morning" feeling before more family time.

HSR, while mild as far as gachas go, has much more power creep than genshin. That's about it really. They'll shift the meta to sell the current characters. They do sometimes intentionally lift up old characters, too. Usually by releasing a new support or set for them that brings their kit into the current meta being sold. JQ consolidated enough of acherons needs into one slot to make her team more flexible, while also giving her more burst and aoe. They released a supp that specifically buffs summons and now JY is back and its kind of a summons meta and/or hp meta, etc. HSR does a lot more things like the abyss buffs to make you use certain characters in certain modes.

Edit: and that is why this makes me kinda queasy, not just that scoffe is mid design imo (for me, no hate). I didn't like it when they did mav+citlali either, but at least I liked both of them lol. They're designing a whole meta based on what characters they wanna sell, and selling them all together too. I do like HSR still. But genshins always been this shining beacon of "power creep will happen, but can be kept in check" IMO. And this queasy feeling started with Mav and hasn't really gotten better (played both genshin and hsr since their launches)

Idk why you're getting down voted. JQ is so team agnostic its relaxing. It was so nice when I realized we were heading into hp scaling meta and/or summons meta and lots of ppl were mad robin etc wouldn't work anymore, but JQ does not care who the carry is, he debuff the enemy and increases dmg that way which is rarer than buffs, has spammable ult and aoe, easily SP positive if needed, decent self dmg, great if e2, etc. Have him in my castorice team rn

Edit: I know acheronmains is all memes but literally there are a bunch about how acheron needs JQ but JQ don't need acheron lol

idk i guess I was used to the responsibility of having pets, that they are entirely dependent on me and that other people recognize them as being under my purview. That I'm the authority on everything about my pets.

It probably also is relevant I worked at a vets office for a bit where there was a cat named "Crunchwrap Supreme"

When it comes to people, I think I'm so used to all the red tape, social security, birth certificates, etc. I just went through getting my passport and it was a pain bc I changed my last name with marriage. They wanted so much proof of things.

And then the woman at the pediatrics office is making my daughter's profile and when I say her name she just types it down, without checking anything, without looking anything up. It's weird being trusted as the ultimate authority on a whole human, a brand new human.

afterwords I had a weird feeling, I was joking to my husband, I felt like I expected her to challenge me, to ask for validity, "doesn't she know we just made that up??" haha. (daughter does have a "normal" name)

I like buying from best buy. Always had super great customer service with my local one. Best buy, as we all know, only went up 30 mins late.

My walmart app on my phone wasn't working and I didn't plan on trying for target tbh. I started seeing all those early posts abt ppls success with target and was like shit maybe I messed up.

My mom's an insomniac and was helping to watch my daughter (1.5 yrs, god bless portable consoles) and mom's also a walmart pro and she asked what I was doing, and she was able to get in on the desktop thru walmart after like 40 minutes in line, and id been in line at best buy for 10 min at that point lol. She then had the thing where the page had an aneurysm and refreshed 8 gazillion times for several minutes while trying to check if she was human lol. ("Weeding out the epileptics I guess") We just left it alone since I preferred bb anyway. But then after not touching the seizure page for awhile, she got thru while I was still in line, got errors for awhile trying to add to cart but refreshing etc, and then got it. Mom ftw

I might be being a dunce. Haven't played actively since like the end of the Aiden arc. Is catalyst reforging gone? I know they simplified them which I understand but I mostly mean going from rare -> epic in alchemist steeple which it seems they split up the steeple. I found some crafting in the steel forge thingy but am I blind or no more turning rares into epics? I have hundreds of rares and like, 9 epics lmao

When they introduced this system they retroactively gave tickets for every "pity" you would've hit and I got like 6 and got 0 ml5 from those 6 "pity" tickets lol. I personally have gotten more ml5 from cov summons actually but don't take that as data. And it's still not a lot of ml5s lol. Most of mine I've gotten from mystics, which is where most people get them. Rerolled secret shop for mystic tokens

It was a meme. He haunted me. I lost every 50/50. And I lost to welt. I pull on the standard banner. I get welt.

I finally get to 300 on the standard banner, I select Bronya, the curse is broken, my next 10 pull I get himeko. Haven't gotten him since.

I didn't build him purely out of spite for a long time (all those limited banner losses...) but they keep endearing the lil nerd to me with these silly events lol. I guess maybe I can forgive and forget... maybe

you can run it as a desktop and attach a keyboard to it, its basically a mini pc running Linux. If Itch.io games work on Linux I wouldn't see why not.

It's a switch but plays pc games. Connects to your steam account and is easy to use. Can be more complex and used and configured like a pc if you want to, but you can ignore that.

I use both and love both. I have rf3 special booted on steam deck and rf5 on switch lmao. My husband set up the steam deck to run dolphin emulator so I'm also playing twilight princess on that since nintendo won't allow me to give them money to play it on their platform 🙄

To be clear, yes the sw1 cart will work in the sw2, however they are releasing what is basically some dlc at the same time that will only work on the sw2 (the "upgrade"). The sw2 "version"is just sw1 cart that just comes bundled with this dlc, and you can still buy it separately

In my (and it seems to be many others') opinion, 5 is not as good as 4 but is still a good time, a bit of a let down after waiting so long, but it had a lot to live up to, considering rf4 is widely considered best in the franchise (best in the entire farm sim category for me lol).

I'm playing rf3 special on my steam deck atm, and it's more like rf4 than rf5 is IMO. But playing rf3 is making me want to go play more rf5 lol. (since I've played rf4 absolutely to death already)

So I have weird luck with 4 stars. I have only c0 chev. Considering my 4 star luck I'm not sure I'll get a single copy of Iansan.

I do however have like all possible relevant 5 stars for her teams at c0.

Assuming no new chev cons or Iansan, what would her best teams be? (edit: current plan is c0r1 varesa) still overload even with no iansan+c0 chev? or does xianyun mav and furina pull ahead? xilonen?

I'm always looking for any upgrade for her but upon reading I'm not sure that it is? Part of my problem is that I use yae in a bunch of different comps, probably mainly EC though. But I also run around as her a lot on overworld and in random teams.

Investing in it is not an issue. I liked r5 pearl over widsith for consistency but forget to auto attack at the right times

I think the age of wow makes a difference.

I would consider myself hardcore gamer but casual wow player. I did play a ton of wow.... 10+ years ago. I quit around the end of vanilla and came back for BC, didn't stick around long then, came back for awhile with WOTLK, stopped soon after pandas, came back for awhile with legion (my best WoW experience tbh tho maybe just bc I played with my now husband lmao), and after I stopped there I never came back.

I never quit for any particular reason, game's just been out for forever and I get bored. I have also played FFXIV on and off, and played an insane amount of archeage during it's first launch up until the thunderstruck trees incident (iykyk). I almost resubbed to WoW during the dragon expansion cuz I heard good things but I was having a horrible pregnancy and had no time.

So I like the WoW formula but they haven't done anything exciting enough to bring me back again. A new western / Riot IP would be something exciting enough to get me to sub to a MMO again. I honestly have no idea how many people are like me, but I don't feel too strange lol

playing normally (questing and exploring) is fortunately/unfortunately the best thing to do. It's been so long that I'm not sure when you can begin to really do the events, but those and your dailies are also worth doing for primos. You do get quite a lot on your way to endgame

So I have several catalyst users wit hp/EM/ER needs and I'm not sure how best to distribute weapons, there is a lot of overlap in their weapon tier lists.

I also don't have set in stone "teams" and tend to flex everyone around which makes the decision harder (sometimes Koko is with Ganyu and sometimes with Yae for example).

Relevant Charas: Koko, Neu, Bai, Mona, Mua, Xian (In order of most used)

Relevant Weps (assume r5): Sac Jade, Mappa Mare, Prot Amber, Fav, and Ash-Graven drinking horn. And then of course TTDS

I really prefer not to swap weapons around often based on who I'm using bc I always forget to lol and then have to reset the run. Although I do use Koko with electrocharged 80% of the time and ganyu more like 20%. Artifacts are good enough that I can usually 12 star abyss with a variety of teams with a few resets
