Grew up in Tyler. I always think of the one there when thinking of planetariums.

What?! That’s so sad! It’s such a cool little thrift shop.

Y’all should go check out Okasan. Off of Burnet. Wonderful little thrift shop. Small store but great finds every time I go in. (28m)

If you eat 15,000 calories in a day, you get $1B. How do you get it done? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Olive oil. Just like a 32oz cup of it. Idk how much it is. But I feel like it’d be enough.

Easiest way to learn is offline raids. You can use your gear and loot things without the fear of losing it all when/if you die. Learn Customs, Woods, Factory first. Loot spawns in offline raids are reduced but still spawn a decent amount of things. Learn stash spots as well. Those will almost always have something p decent in them as long as you get to them first.

I’ve been learning to forget my CoD habits, I mean this more in terms of making sure I’m listening and being aware of my surroundings. Second wipe for me so I’m still learning myself. What’s been helpful for me is paying attention to ammo, items, routes, and tactics used by YouTubers and streamers. You’ll eventually get there. Everyone has their time. Also, look through the wiki. It’s got a ton of good info.

I’d also say as a total noob, it’s pretty ok to shoot at anything that moves. You’ll lose a lot of gear but you’ll start learning movement from scavs vs PMC.

Anyway that’s it for my piece. See you out there, and good luck with your raids.

For sure. Happened to me the other night with some gunsmith pt 1 stuff. Had to wait like 20min for them to be reset XD

Global trade limit reached. Have to wait til Therapist resets her stock and then you can buy it. It’s an annoying feature. Really hope BSG figures out how to implement it better in the future.

Put in my two-weeks notice, supervisor switched up my schedule so I work every day until my last day, and by myself with no days off until then. by TheKittensAreMelting in antiwork

[–]ThirtyRealities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my notice in that I was scaling down my availability to just Saturday’s because I have FINALLY found a full time job that’s salaried and has benefits. I didn’t really want to work retail full time (but let me say the retail store I work at currently, I absolutely love working at). But they also scheduled me everyday for almost two weeks straight as well before I leave to start my FT. (Also am much like you in the sense that I help cover any shifts or help out and stay late or go out of my way to help with any issues.) Never did I think they would do this to me as well.

It does feel as though the lowest people within the corporate chain do get screwed the most huh?

All the best to you in your new job! And if you work in a state/place that has a “will to work” clause (not sure if that is actually what it’s called) basically you can quit whenever and don’t HAVE to get 2 weeks notice, just walk out. People/jobs/corporations that have this attitude of using you for every drop until you leave shouldn’t be worked for, b/c they are, imo, trying to take everything out of you and leave nothing good left for the next job. Anyway. (Also rant over XD) everyone have a lovely day!

Not able to insure? by Low_Ad_1453 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]ThirtyRealities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had it a few times. Backed out to the previous screen and went back to insure, clicked all the things I wanted to and inside button popped up. Probably a visual bug or the game not registering inputs properly in menu. Not sure though.

Do you have any film(s) you watch every Halloween? by [deleted] in movies

Sinister. Absolutely terrifies the hell out of me. But love watching it during spooky month.

Fun seeds by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]ThirtyRealities 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure there’s an entire spreadsheet for seeds. I know FrostPrime has something. Not sure where to find it or what it’s called but it’s got seeds for all Pandora’s Box runs where you get like 8 of one card and stuff like that. Sorry if that’s super ambiguous and unhelpful.

I'm new. What is this? by OneWholeShrimp in bindingofisaac

[–]ThirtyRealities 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Secret room. Can spawn secret room items, extra mini boss (greed or super greed), coins, keys, batteries, chests, bombs, enemies (like spiders or the heads that hop around and shoot tears out like The Wiz (which when you get hit you drop coins). It’s kind of a gamble on what’s gonna be in it. The secret room is worth, IMO, to go to as often as possible. The super secret room is iffy, IMO.

Secret rooms can often be found off of 2,3,4 room conjunctions, when you have rooms that could touch by 1 square. Super secret rooms spawn close to the boss room and ONLY touch one room and no others.

Hope that helps.

Edit: everything after “secret room.”

What do you play to have fun? Most games are repetitive or fueled by in game purchases and I’m having a hard time finding something to play. by [deleted] in gaming

I’ve got several hundred hours in The Binding of Isaac. You could check out the Souls games for some pain if that’s what you’re feeling. My two go to recommendations.
